Kishi has really not been giving minato a break this arc.. it makes me feel sorry for him :/

I'm expecting minato to go apeshit on both Madara and black zetsu, only reason they haven't defeated black zetsu is because he is attached to obito. IMO I don't think he will give a luck now. May e there is a reason why minato is one of the only kages still standing .

IMO, he will be brought down ultimately by Madara as soon as he saves naruto, as it should be his duty

KCM Minato didn't stand a chance against Juubito nor did BM Minato. Madara is also more ruthless.

I dont think hes a failure, he did what he could but his situation does suck and i do hope he beats the crap outta zetzu for doing that! That was unexpected, and now Ridudara is around too?! Theres no way Sakura can keep Naruto alive just by continuing CPR unless he hasn't "technically" died yet

Reading the latest chapter made me realize Minato has really failed as a parent. The number 1 duty of a father is to protect your son and Minato couldn't do it. How do you let zetsu be the demise of your only son?

Minato must feel like crap right now. He's probably saying to himself my son is going to die and it's my fault.

Kishi has to do him some justice, let him be the one to save his son or else Minato really is a failed parent.

Well you have you remember that Minato wasn't only a father, he was a husband, teacher, rival, enemy, student and leader of his village. He can't solely focus on Naruto but can do what he can to keep him safe and help him down the right path. If you watched the recent animes then you get too see Minato trying to ensure there's peace while also trying to help Kakashi deal with Rin and Obito's lost while being a husband, while doing Hokage duties while trying to watch out for his wife and soon to be son. Did we see a close relationship with any of the Kage's and their kid? Go ask Kid Gaara that. Hiruzen and Asuma didn't seem close, we didn't even know he was Hiruzen's son for a while, we don't even know who is Konohamaru's parents are, we see more connection through the grandchildrens (Konohamaru/Tsunade with Hiruzen/Hashirama).

As for in that scan, Minato left Zetsu to Kakashi and Gaara and was focused on doing a seal with one hand to save his son. I don't see you hating on Kakashi who could have used his Sharingan to see Zetsu go underground, why not? Because we all know the sharingan doesn't always see chakra, it has to be activated. Minato already had the transfer ready and Zetsu intervene is all, that doesn't make him a horrible dad in the lastest. That's like saying Itachi is a horrible brother for what he did to Sasuke but we know he love Sasuke more than anything and only went about things the wrong way. Same can be said for their dad who ignored Sasuke or we can say that to any ninja who never shown to have scene time with their parents.
