Minato had more than 3 students?

I thought that Minatos students were Kakashi, Rin and Obito!
And i also thought that one teacher only has 3 students in his entire life, but it seems that Minato had 3 more students and those students he gave his ftg-technique with :-\

Do u think these 3 guys were not good enough to handle the ftg or did Minato just give them this tech in this way, cos it was too strong? And i didnt thought that the guy that always has a straw in his mouth would have any special meaning for the manga xD

(Ok by writing this i realized that Jiraya had 3 students before Minato and later he had Naruto also and the 1st and 2nd had more than 3 students, but on pictures u always only see one teacher and 3 students)

they were not his students they were his bodyguards so he taught them the technique, where u see in the manga they say they were his students?

and i dont see kakashi using FTG so i doubt he taught it to kakashi, althought kakashi is too weak to perform it anyway

Exactly. It says they were his bodyguards I don't know why you'd read it as the three of them being his students.

lol man r u high, minato had massive chakra reserves, why you think his regular rasengan was bigger than everyone normal rasengan, also the reason the three of them had to do it is because of chakra levels, if thats not it then wat else is there?

oh wait mabe it requires a genius to operate it fully, as far as i can tell minato FTG was controlled by chakra, how far you wanted to go and how big an object you wanted to transport was all determined by chakra
