You better stick with the "head" idea. Some have said that Minato could use FTG to escape Kamui's dimension. I don't agree, but that's what I've seen argued before.

Eh, I disagree with the minato an simply ftg out.. Tobi is far from an idiot, and he was 100% sure that once he got minato inside of the realm, it was over..

When he got kakashi in , and kakashi came out..he said
"you got out..so we do have the same eyes"

makes little sense that he'd say that if any s/t jutsu can get you

i disagree, if kakashi warps the whole minato it's a. less speedy b. more detectable and c. there's the probability that minato can counter that with his own space/time and warp back. a small but mortal wound would work much better against a s/t user.

When he used kamui on deidara's arm, the black hole/barrier, w.e you want to call it, had to rip( in a sense) deidara's arm off.. this easily is more detectable and takes longer than what happens when he simply sends over the whole body.. ^as I showed with the naruto clone, it went over instantly, at the exact time, exact moment, no delayed effect.. tobi who has the sharingan and its predictive capabilities didn't even notice kamui took the clone away... it was that fast

And you can't even compare the speed of tobi's kamui and kakashi's... You should know , kakashi warps whole bodies in an instant...Minato's great reflexes wouldn't be able to defend against an invisible attack like that, especially when he isn't expecting such a thing..

Again, Minato attacks. Kakashi on the defensive. Kakashi uses Kamui to warp away a Rasengan. Minato figures it out. Minato wins.

Also, good luck getting Kakashi to land a Kamui on Minato at all. Naruto was moving in a straight line, as planned out by Kakashi, when he got warped. Minato is no fool. He won't charge straight in -> and if he does, he has FTG ready as soon as Kakashi tries anything.

One, the very fact that Obito, who knew of his master's flying thunder god ability, still tried to warp him in.. and was adamant that if he got him inside, the fight was over..

two, kakashi after getting out of the dimenstion.. Obito , amazed by the feat , says "so we do have the same eyes afterall.." again, hinting that without having the same eyes, the same ability, you wouldn't be able to leave

1) That was just an example.
2) FTG is also instant. Hmm ... we've run into a paradox. This is where it comes down to reaction speed. Minato see's Kakashi activate MS, immediately gets out of the way. Minato won't know WHAT that MS is going to do, so it'd be best to dodge and counterattack.

You remember when Obito spent many years and try to figure out how to counter Minato's ftg and how to defeat him, but the battle against Minato, he just got his ass kicked by Minato in 3 seconds. Even a opponent has a full knowledge about Minato's ftg, but in the end that person will lose to him even they know how it works.
By the way, Minato has better relfexes and better battle strategies than Kakashi, spamming Kamui won't help, if Minato marks Kakashi then KO ! no doubt.

kakashi's kamui isnt necessarily faster than obito's as kakashi started warping first and obito followed after seeing the rasengan getting warped

they are the same speed but because of a little difference between kakashi's start and obito's start, the clone and the stake disappeared and appeared within a short time interval of each other and obito was fooled into thinking that the stake killed the clone

though it is still fast and can defeat pretty much everyone
