Its not my opinion that there beast temporarily die its a known fact stated within the manga.
Extracting the tailed beast kills anyone who is not an uzumaki since they have strong forces of life.
What i was trying to get at is that sealing and releasing tailed beast are different from sealing humans.
Well,at least at this moment there is no official distinguishing differences or similarities.
When tailed beast are in their host when they die they are not freed right away.
It takes time for them to come back.So comparing them to an event in which oro's soul would return would be faulty.
They also never planned to kill rin it was their intention to trick her into fleeing back to the village asap so she would eventually lose control and wreak havoc on the leaf.At that time only a select few have ever manged to contain the beast. This is why rin killed herself,so she would not endanger the leaf. After that the beast resurrected and was later re-caught by the mist and then later on by akatksui
No need to argue good friend, provide me with 2 things:
1) Scan from the manga which states the the tailed beast die temporarily. Also your interpretation of what they were going to do with rin is as good as mine as the manga doesnt really say what they were planning. But the fact of the matter is a jinchuriki was killed and yet we see the tailed beast roaming around later.
2) Explain how that helps your original point, in actuality it only bolster my point which was that things sealed are not destroyed when the seal is broken but are rather released. Now your new stance is that they are released after some time delay, but they are still released non the less.
Lastly lets not stray too far from you original point which was strickly that it didnt matter whether Hiruzen decided to seal Oro's arms and the kage inside the RDS because if he had sealed them inside of himself then they would have been destroyed when he died.
My rebuttle to this is that:
1) Maybe Hiruzen did not want to destroy the kages souls, and thus it still makes sense that he would opt to seal them within the RDS and not himself.
2) As you may know, and if I am wrong feel free to correct me, but there is no evidence that anything is destroy when seal as oppose to being released. But there is evidence, the bijuu and the RDS that shows that when a seal is broken the things that were sealed are then released. So then how can you argue that If Hiruzen died Oro and the kages souls that would have been sealed inside of him would have been destroyed as oppose to them being released.
