If minato wanted to Hunt him down and kill him he could have, After tobi Warpped away, He still had the Tag on him.
Minato could of easily followed him.

But he has more important things to deal with than to chase tobi down.

Also , Tobi had to controll Kurama the whole time.

Also maybe a future flashback showing , wat happened after Tobi retreated or something.

Yes, Minato could've easily finished him. It was part plot that Tobi had to survive. Izanagi would be useless because he would lose his sharingan and then not be able to warp away, meaning he would've been stuck in the village.

Well that is if his warp abilities come from sharingan. I mean minato has S/T without sharingan. I guess we will find out enough about tobi soon

I don't think Izanagi would have played a role because it appears that Pre-Uchiha Massacre Tobi only had one eye as confirmed

Firstly... izanami uses 1 eye only....

2ndly, that scan doesn't show that Tobi has only 1 eye.. that shows a zomed in shot of only 1 of his eyes opening..

If you look at his hair, he has exactly the same hair as uchiha Madara..
and Madara's hair usually covers ONE of his eyes most the time..

So basically tobi opening his eyes only showed one of his eyes doesn't say that was his only eye.... Madara and Tobi usually fight with one eye blind with little to no problems.. Tobi had a mask over 1 of his eyes for years..

Eh in theory i guess so, but i dont really see that speed competition detirmining who is overall stronger, i think Tobi genuinely thought he could quick-draw on minato but got rocked, it was a good hit but does it mean he would win a fight to the death? IMO no

Well i mean tobi was then marked with it so no matter how bad he wanted to fight he could be caught with FTG now that he is marked. He would have to pre-anticipate the strikes and we saw when minato used the contract seal he touched tobi for a few seconds too.
