Too bad English is my third language. Maybe you're right about the VIZ Translation or maybe you're wrong. But I still believe that Minato will be able to dodge Amaterasu... Gaara did block it with his slow sand after all.

The reason why I'm so inclined on Minato dodging Amaterasu is more intensified by Gaara's slow sand being able to block it.

Minato can dodge Amaterasu by moving, as he has good enough reflexes to allow him to do so. Even if he was placed into a spot in which he was incapable of moving (though it is hard to actually see Minato remaining still for too long during a battle), he has FTG to save him.

And lastly, even if he was hit by Amaterasu, he would teleport away from it with FTG. Why is that? Because FTG allows the user to teleport with anything within his own physical grasp. He choosed to teleport the Kyuubi, Kushina and Naruto; though he didn't want to teleport with Tobi, and was successful. He can teleport naked if he wishes, or without the flames, as they became an actual physical property upon contact. If Amaterasu were to kill in an instant though, it be different.

Let's say the 4th is across the field all Itachi will have to do is look at him. How would the 4th know? It's not like you can hear an eye jutsu! The most the 4th would do is throw off that piece of clothing at lighting speed and run right after the initial flame. Get it now?

Actually, Amaterasu is only as fast as the eye can focus. Doesn't that make sense? It appears on whatever surface the eye can focus on, so it is dependent upon that factor. If V2 is faster than even a sharingan can focus on, then Minato, who managed to see V2, process the threat, and then evade it all at a speed clearly faster than a sharingan (or at least Sasuke's), then he should be able to do the same for Amaterasu, because Minato can process a threat more quickly than a Sharingan can fully focus (or at least Sasuke's, because that's the only example we really have).

They aren't nearly the same speed... Enton is just using existing flames and throwing it in a way...
