U_U Raikage told Naruto that he's the second person to have dodged his fastest punch(V2). Which means that Minato dodged his fastest punch(V2). If he can dodge V2... he more than likely has the ability to dodged Amaterasu. Being able to react to V2 means that he can also react to Amaterasu.

He used ftg I believe to dodge Raikages fastest punch. The way ftg and V2 lightning works is completely different. If Minato knows Amaterasu is coming I have no doubt in my mind he can dodge. If he's not looking into Sasukes eyes which he probably won't. He won't know it's coming and he dies.

What if Hikari Furrashu(Minato) were to go up against Itachi's izanami? If you saw shippuuden movie 4 you will see that Minato can do shadow clone shuriken. He can definately dodge amaterasu, however amaterasu can protect the user in a shield of flames as we've seen before.

Amaterasu burns everything within Itachi's wide field of vision to cinders with an unholy black flame, to the degree of being able to burn an entire forest or village with it. Where ever the user focuses his eye on a object, the flames will appear at the exact spot without moving making it unavoidable as long as the user keeps his vision on the target... FACT Sasuke cannot KEEP his eyes on minato

so true, how ever raikage nearly dodged it but since a sensor type ninja the one that go caught in genjutsu of sasuke was analyzing what would happen then lord raikage had a good touch up i agree with your suggestion because minato can warp to one location and like the battle with kyuubi minato himself can warp amateratsu in his hand and warp it back to itachi or sasuke......... Another thing i have been thinking itachi can easily defeat minato either way with izanami or with out maybe even in a rank 1 genjustsu.

I know Minato has both reflexes and speed... but his speed isn't up to the Raikage's in V2 armor. Which is what made the difference.
