No, a clear-cut statement isn't subjective at all. You are adding the notion of subjectivity to it. It's Minato's words, over your interpretations. Naruto in SM without syncing it with Kurama's Chakra was out of juice after using the same number of FRSs' even in the war-arc. I have no idea where you got this idea that he has trained beyond it.
SM Naruto is okay-ish, really. Despite being an imperfect Sage, Jiraiya has far too many SM Techniques at his disposal to take out both Minato and Naruto in SM matches.
I think that's more of a stamina issue. Naruto has definitely shown signs of improving his senjutsu.

Originally, Naruto's SM was at the level that he could only make 5 clones in order to not have it interfere with SM prep. In the war, he made at least 12 shadow clones, and during that time, had one of the clones enter SM twice. This is a solid proof that he did in fact improve his senjutsu.

Tree mountain has nothing to do with it. Remember, they were talking about Naruto's clones gathering natural energy, not being in the mountain. So yes, he improved. Don't know how you came to the conclusion it was the mountain. You can't say he didn't improve his time limit. That's completely unfounded, especially since he trained to do so.
As for Minato, saying it's 10-20 seconds is really blowing it out of proportion. This is what he said.

"I'm not good at senjutsu, it takes too long to knead that chakra and I can't maintain it for a long time." This is completely subjective. We don't know what the standard of senjutsu is. For all we know, "bad" can be 5 minutes, which is not a long time. Saying it takes too long is subjective. Saying he can't maintain it for long is subjective because he never labeled how long. People saying it only lasts for 1 attack are blowing Minato's statement out of proportion. He said "I can't maintain it for long," not "I can only maintain it for an instant." He didn't even say it only lasts for a very short period of time, just not long.

Actually 10-12 seconds is as generous as anyone can get, given how quickly he left the mode. Unless someone here believes Madara kicked it out of him. You are just denying the obvious, as there is zero room for subjectivity in his wording. He was not using any figure of speech, but clear cut words.

Either Kishi screwed up in drawing and made the black area of his edo eyes cover his entire face, or those are the SM eye marks. There's the possibility that he maintained SM until that point, and can maintain it for over 2 minutes.

I think he just really loves Minato deep down but is too proud to admit it.
Kishi shaded the whole top half of his face black lol.
If he was still in SM at the time then it makes sense because it would be difficult to draw detailed sage marks on the eyes with such small drawing/shading room of minato's eyes. So instead opted to shade the whole thing to indicate to the reader that SM is still there.
