So iirc someone mentions “if minato was alive” when oro invades konoha during the ce. So the question is, do you guys think minato could of stopped oro and avoided his and the 3rds death?

Maybe not the 3rd dying but Minato would've died in his place.

Yes, he would. However, I think Oro would've still succeeded at killing the 3rd.
But it would be interesting nonetheless.

You think minato would of done worse than hiruzen against the 2 edos?

He would've fought better than Hiruzen but sealing them would've been a problem. There's another question would Minato possess the same abilities and would kishi have factored them in so early on?

Minato could've stopped Oro. All he needed to do was somehow manage to place his seal on Oro and its game over for Oro. And if he had the fusion SM as well then it'd be even easier.

Oro never dared to attack the village while Minato was alive even though he was butthurt over Minato taking the title of Hokage from him.

We all know, he would've been the hokage if it wasn't for his experiments, it's the only reason Minato became the Hokage.

Oro was portrayed to always be second best to Minato. I like the idea that he and his self-made village could defeat him but...the Sound VS the entire Leaf led by a Hokage in their prime...seems no.

Orochimaru picked a notoriously weak period in Konoha's history to strike.

He still didn't attack for 12 years after Minato's death, the only time he attacked was when he was after Sasuke.

At that point in time, Minato would had low dif Orochimaru. Unlike Obito, Orochimaru is more targetable, and if a seal was placed on him, pew pew. I mean, Sarutobi took care of the 2 hokages and Orochimaru, add Minato to the mix and it would be over before it started.

If your talking about sm then nah, everything else he he showed bar sm and kcm is valid I’d say, i don’t think he would of had any issues sealing them, he might of even had an easier go at it as minato was known to be proficient at sealing jutsus

He did conveniently wait quite a while before he attacked

1. Its directly implied that if Minato was there he could stop Oro.

2. Feats are easily on Minato side.

3. Hype and portray is on Minato side too.

Yea, minato's skill set was OP. He could mark a rock, throw it and it'd serve the same purpose as his kunai. Nobody besides jubito and Six Paths madara could stop him

Indeed. He waited till Minato was completely out of the equation.

We all know, he would've been the hokage if it wasn't for his experiments, it's the only reason Minato became the Hokage.

Except that Minato was already declared a Hokage candidate over Oro before Oro's actions came to light and he had to flee the village lol.

Minato > Oro :lol

Please don't disappoint me, you think power is the only requirement to become a hokage?:lol
Besides where did you come up with that statement? "Minato was already declared a hokage candidate over oro", trolling as usual.
