I know this has been discussed quite a bit in the last week, and i agree with most - you just can't stop those itachi fan boys. Some even have the nerve to say that Itachi can even defeat Minato? What logic or evidence is their to prove that Itachi can stop Madara and the Kyuubi in one fight? And who says Itachi can stand a chance against Kyuubi? He might be able to control it for a few mins, but he does not have EMS. His Sharingan would slowly fade away and the kyuubi would eventually crush him. And as for Nagato, keep in mind it was three vs one, and Nagato was being controlled and focused on capturing NARUTO. if itachi was alone he would have been done by Edo tensei, which couldn't have been stopped by itachi alone, it took two of the strongest jinchuruki to aid him to stop it.

And digital monster, I'm not at all offended; just up for a good discussion on why itachi is so over hyped? And what difference does it make? Naruto Defeated pain once before by having very little knowledge about the rinnegan, but didn't fight nagato because he came to an agreement with him, also Nagato was on the Verge of death because of his bad health. But Honestly, in the latest chapter; if anyone of those three went one on one with Nagato, they would've been raped.

Great supporting evidence Digital, but once again this is all from that 3 vs 1 fight. You can't dodge the fact that Itachi acted on his own free will while nagato was a puppet.Think of it like this, if naruto and Bee were not even there to begin with, it was an all out battle between itachi and nagato; then there would be no open chance like that crow coming out of naruto's mouth to distract nagato while itachi can cast amaterasu. And he use shinra tensei LATE, because once again, Kabuto was controlling him. If Nagato wasn't being controlled, he could have used shinra tensei right away before his arms got damaged ,or just simply absorbed amaterasu.

No,the Shinra Tensei he used when being hit by Amaterasu needs a cool down for awhile,that's why deva path didn't proceed using shinra tensei.
And what makes you think that he could've done better without being controlled?
Oh And btw,Amaterasu is KG,it can't be absorbed,otherwise using ST would consumes alot of life energy

Amaterasu DOES not cool down, it doesnt even extinguish itself, and dude devapath couldn't use shinra tensei til Kabuto commanded him too, Nagato had no control over his body. and if he did; itachi would have been buried once nagato used ST on him followed by Naraka Path.
Amaterasu is KG ninjutsu, meaning it can't be COPIED but it can be absorbed - so once it touches nagato, he can absorb it to get rid of it.

Itachi could just use susanoo/Yata Mirror to protect himself from minato speed since Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu wont work on him so Itachi will be protected .and he can just take out Nagato with Tsukuyomi or his Sword of Totsuka since Nagato mobility is very slow then he can surround him self with Amaterasu flame just as Sasuke( its most likely that he has this ability due to Sasuke having the same abilitys as Itachi).

Susano is strong, but it's not that GREAT. Id love to see susano defend against Minato's Dead demon consuming seal which would most likely smash through susanoo with it's grim reaper scyth. Also i'd love to see susanoo survive a tailed beast bomb coming straight from the kyuubi. Also Susanoo can be easily defeated along with itachi if Nagato uses Chubaka tensei, which was pretty much pulling everything in its sight til Bee naruto and Itachi used there strongest attacks to stop it.

Chibaku Tensei can just be stoped by hiting the center ball of its gravitational pull.And there is a reasion for it being called a sealing jutsu its not close combat like hand to hand fighting creature you hav but you hav to be close to the person to seal them so minato would be having a hard time getting close to itachi when he is using the Yata Mirror which is invincible
