And there is nothing we can do to prevent it. All we can do is sit back, knowing what's going to happen, and watch in horror.
What I noticed about the fillers is that things are playing out differently, but the end result is the same as reality. Naruto gets SM, fights Pain, transforms into KN6. Sasuke gets CM, joins Orochimaru, and obtains EMS. Sakura still asks of Naruto the same thing as in reality, that he bring back Sasuke. Itachi..........he's still ends up dying :sniff:
So, i'm guessing that if the end result is still the same, then it's almost time for Naruto to lose his mom and dad. I still have questions like, "where are Obito and Rin?" or "Where are Iruka and his parents." Or maybe that part olayed out differently but still the same. Maybe the "Masked Man" attacked Konoha with the nine tails that Madara had kept restrained after he got it from Mito. After defeating the "Masked Man", Minato sealed half inside of Kushina and half inside of Naruto.
That's just my theory.
