Minato and Kakashi overrated?

You can't just say: "Without X's special jutsu's he/she is pretty much useless." and go on that many could defeat them then. That works for everyone else too. Without the sharingan, itachi and sasuke are pretty much useless too. (Just an example, so fanboys pls don't go all crazy cause I picked those two.)

So come up with better and more valid points than that, sir.

But on the question if they're overrated. I agree with Blaze release. Some are to an extent, and it's an individual opinion on that. Haters gonna hate no matter what's been said.

Kakashi is a bit ovverated but not too much as he is an elite ninja.

Minato is underated as some even say he would lose to konohamaru >.>
Btw why did u JUST mentoin that Itachi could defeat him and no more people?

I said only Itachi because it would take a long time to list the people how they would defeat him. IMR Madara could beat him, Maybe naruto with more training with KM mode, EMS Sasuke if we see more of what he can do with the Susanoo and other abilites.

Sasuke was born with the sharingan. And Minato learned that sealing Kunai thing. You can't take away something your born with. But I get were your coming from.

barely anyone overates kakashi. jiraya is overhyped i agree. its only because of staements made about him.

for- Example Jiraya > itachi and kisame + backup. which is something itachi said
which is not true because itachi has the feats to solo jiraya.

also jiraya couldn't beat pain even with knowledge.

but the minato hype is taken to new extremes every day

no, Jiraya isn´t overhyped, overhyped is 3rd Hokage Prime, Jiraya is overrated, just look at the new thread Jiraya vs 1st Hokage, 2 people already said that they don´t know, yes, there are some added feats to Jiraya, but still

I think they are both overrated and overestimated. Just becuase Kakashi has a sharingan he is powerful and overestimated. People say Kakashi could beat Itachi. That's just ridiculous he got his ass handed to him the first time they fought. He would have died if Sasuke didn't go blind after the Danzo fight. He is not the strongest or even near to the strongest there are so many other talented non copy ninjas out there.

Minato is overrated because people think just because he's the Yellow Flash he can beat anyone. I beat he couldn't beat Itachi or Impure World Ressurection Madara. Without that Flash Speed he would be an easy opponent for Itachi or any other high level ninja. And if you take away that Kunai he is useless and I know he has multiple other ones and he can put seals on people and objects. But if he were fighting Itachi he wouldn't have time to put seals on Itachi or objects. Because Itachi would have knowledge on Minato's legendary skills and would have a counter plan. And Itachi could just destroy the multiple Kunai's he has.

Kakashi isnt overrated, except for big kakashi fans, and you'll get that for any character.
Minato was the 4th hokage, and at the time there was orochimaru, jiraiya both being strong enough for the position, so it wasnt like he was the only half decent shinobi around. Until Kishi fully shows us the extent of his powers, I can't say if he is or isnt overrated, from what i've seen so far though, he seems to be very strong

What does Itachi have to do with Kakashi or Minato? Kakashi is a skilled jounin level/post kage level ninja. We've seen him in action he has copied hundreds of jutus, has mangeyko sharigan and is very smart and tatical. Minato was able to take on Tobi and the nine tailed fox to some extent and we know that he was kage level.

how can kakashi be overrated....he has a good amount of speed, he is also very smart, itachi him self acknowledged kakashi and his ability to control the sharigan for a non uchiha. he has a wide range of jutsu's.

minato is also not overrated. his speed is even better the A's by a long shot....example he dodged A's punch cut a tentecal of Bee"s bijui and nearly killed Bee in an instant. He also managed to injure Tobi and make him lose control of the nine tails in an instant. however it does not mean he is the strongest but it does mean he is really good......and at the end of the day its not what you have its how you use it. by the way ths is my first post however i have been reading the manga and watching the anime for about a year and a half.

I agree Minato fans clearly overate him. Not sure about kakashi
What u have said on the other hand is complete bullshit. Itachi doesnt have a counter for ftg. Minato doesnt throw kunais to kill on a 1vs 1 situation. It is used to evade! Itachi will have to use susano but thats irrelevant to this thread
