Minato and Itachi are the best of konoha

These two are the most intelligent shinobi's in the series besides Shikamaru and Tobi.

They have the best battle tactics and analysis in the business.

Minato: the only shinobi who has FTG in the series created death reaper seal and rasengan. He's not even a senju / uchiha. and he's also the youngest hokage. Saved Konoha and his family from Tobi and Kurama.

Itachi: at a very young age that has amaterasu, tsukiyomi, susano(totsuka sword / yata mirror) izanami, kotoamatsukami. He probably obtained these techs at a younger age than madara.

They both planned ahead of time.

Minato sealed Kurama inside Naruto to later master it and defeat Tobi.

Itachi planned everything to make Sasuke an uchiha hero and planted amaterasu to Sasuke so Tobi won't come near him. Also has KA as a plan B.
And now hes got izanami which we dont know about yet.

These two really are the prodigies of Konoha.

Im not a fanboy of the two as you can see Kisame is my dude. I just want to appreciate their character and abilities.

yes, and he has to. To be able to defeat Tobi and madara. Minato probably thought that he cannot defeat tobi thats why he entrusted everything to naruto.
