i guess he knows what sage mode is, after all he is one of the student of Jiraiya and he has contract with toads. But I doubt about him learning it as it is mentioned no where+ i am sure if he had learned it the boss toad would tell Naruto that he was 2nd jiraiya's student to learn the sage mode..hmmm think bout it..
