I think the discrepancy here is that Minato just has half the chakra of Kurama, while Naruto has the whole tailed beast with half its chakra. If there is a way to release the chakra and give it back to Kurama, either he or Minato knows.

The RDS argument is very valid, though. I'm not sure if there's any way that chakra leaked out when Orochimaru cut the shinigami's stomach.

That was edo tensei,they were jinjurikis before they died and resurrected with their original powers.

Yeah but the beasts were taken out of them before they died,Obito used the Gedo Mazou to transfer the tailed beasts back into the Edo jinchuriki.
