Looks: Minashi’s main attribute is his face mask, he has never been seen without it on. He wears a forehead protector but it does not show the symbol of any villages. His clothing consists of a long sleeve black over shirt and long black pants held up by a grey strip of material tied around his waist. He carries his sword on his left hip which is fixed by the grey material.

Personality: Minashi is quiet and likes to keep things to himself, not going out of his way to befriend others. He is easily annoyed which can soon turn to anger, certainly a side of Minashi you don’t want to see. Minashi also carries the will to never give up, no matter how strong his opponent is or how injured he is, Minashi will continue to endure until the end.

Background Info.
History:
Early Days
Minashi, only just an infant, was found outside the gates of Konohagakure early one morning, sitting lonesome in a small basket covered with blankets for warmth and a samurai sword lying next to him. The samurai sword had a small symbol engraved into the bottom of the handle and is believed to be the symbol of Minashi’s clan, the only problem being that nobody recognises the symbol. His arrival at Konohagakure was soon after the attack of the 9 Tailed Demon Fox. Minashi was found by a Jounin rank Konohagakure ninja, Himura, who had just returned from a solo reconnaissance mission. After first requesting permission from the Hokage, Himura took Minashi under his wing and treated him like a younger brother, unknown to the rest of Konoha who saw Minashi as one of Himura’s relatives rather than an outsider.
Training
Part of the agreement which allowed for Minashi to take refuge in Konohagakure and to live with Himura included that he was not allowed to attend the ninja academy. This was to prevent villagers from finding out that an outsider had been allowed into Konohagakure during such a time of distress which could prove catastrophic to the Village seen as though it was still recovering from the Kyuubi attack. Instead, Himura decided to teach Minashi himself. Being a Jounin rank ninja, Himura knew a lot about ninjutsu, genjutsu and taijutsu and was able to teach Minashi well. For his 7th birthday, Himura gave Minashi (Who had no prior knowledge of the samurai sword which belonged to him) the samurai sword which had been lying on the ground when he was found. Himura, who was extremely talented with ninja tools, especially swords, taught Minashi everything he knew, the pair sparring each other daily. Minashi clearly had natural talent for swordsmanship and was able to keep up with Himura’s movements at the age of 10
The Incident
Minashi, who was just 11, had honed his swordsmanship skills to near perfection but still had much more to learn from Himura in terms of jutsu ability. Then one day Himura, who was supposed to meet Minashi at the training grounds to teach him some new ninjutsu techniques, was urgently sent off on a mission to gather information on a group of dangerous rouge ninja from Kirigakure who were planning to attack Konoha. Himura had to leave for the mission straight away and was unable to let Minashi know. During the mission, Himura and his teammates were ambushed by the rogue ninja. Each of Himura’s teammates begged for their lives but Himura did not, he tried to fend off the enemies on his own as his teammates were too cowardly to act. Himura was killed trying to protect the Hidden Leaf Village and his teammates were released back to Konoha to tell of what had happened. When they got back the two ninja told the Hokage a story very different to what actually happened and the Hokage, who knew Himura very well didn’t believe the two ninja, forcing them to undergo inspection by Inoichi Yamanaka. It didn’t take long for Inoichi to discover the truth about what happened and the two ninja were banished from the Hidden Leaf Village. Once word had reached Minashi the two ninja were long gone but he swore to himself that both the rogue ninja and former Leaf ninja would pay for Himura’s death.

Himura’s wish, to keep Konohagakure safe and protect it from threats, had now become Minashi’s wish as well. Without Himura, Minashi was forced to seek personal training from sensei’s to improve his skills in the respective areas to ensure he had the strength to maintain his and Himura’s wish till the very end.
