The primary reason the refugees are in such conditions is the same countries being immigrated to [pillaged, destabilized, and/or bombed the shit out of] them. That said, they flood european countries only now due to central planning.
There are cases where non-invading countries are caught in the middle, like Finland (and yes, the US + UK + europe are the invaders, not the refugees). The euro citizens knowingly or not export disaster...
...and did little about it because it was an away game. Now it's a home game, and they are coming to realize that they are the puppets, not the puppet master. And the puppet master doesn't need them anymore.
They can debate, deny, kick, scream, and shoot all they want. The central planners have tight domestication game, and bigger guns. It's become a common trend to refer to the ME as a tinderbox.
Everyone forgets europe's history. The same tactics the central planners use outside of the european countries are going to enter full throttle inside europe once the citizens start to become troublesome.
