If he wanted to handke it more civily he could have asked for law enfirecement to prevent the harrassment from happenning. I don't know how German systen works but cab he even speak their language? If so he really needs to communicate with them to get them to understand that they can't harass their children. Being a refugee is a privilege not a right, although I can understand if he's restricted to do certain things by higher ups but still he must make it a concern. Although to be more realistic he probably had that mindset because the area is populated with refugees, you can still walk there but realize there will be consequences ppssibly. If a new area becomes infested woth drug lords and crime why would one walk through there if there was a safer route? If he communicated this it wouldn't be as bad for him. I kinda agree with this. They are the ones that have to change, not the native german citizens.

Not all of them are cancer. Most of them just want to live a normal life and need a new home. That's totally okay, as long as they follow our laws. Germany need to get control over the refugee-crisis and should have immigration-limits, yes. But must not refuse and dispel all of them.

Here in Finland we have reason to expect a same kind of event to happen today that took place in Cologne. Refugees are planning to assemble in Helsinki and start harrassing people. Police has already been notified and has increased it's manpower in that area. This is becoming pretty normal nowadays.
