has this match on generations and was just wondering who do you think would win, i personally think that guy would get the edge over tsunade just because of the gates

And keep in mind, if she manages to survive his onslaught, he is completely defenseless when the gates wear off. Plus Tsunade has Katsuyuu, which can easily put her at a great advantage. I don't think Guy would have any chance in this fight.

Guy will beat Tsunade to a pulp but if she has her mitosis regeneration kicked in then she would keep healing and guy would wear himself out making him a sitting duck.
If Tsunade doesn't die from guy's 8 gate move used on Kisame, she regenerates and as much as it hates me to say it, she wins
Um, are you serious? Her stamina is legendary. Remember when Guy fought Kisame? Kisame managed to land some pretty serious hits, and Tsunade is stronger. Just because he's fast doesn't mean Tsunade's reflexes aren't incredible. She is a taijutsu master, and I'm sure she could find a way to cope with Gai's speed.

Why did it make you laugh? Everyone in the manga knows that taijutsu is her specialty, and she's been fighting much longer than Gai. Just because she isn't as fast doesn't mean she can't destroy Gai in taijutsu match. And are you kidding about the Kabuto thing? She was suffering from a PARALYZING FEAR OF BLOOD, which Kabuto dumped all over her. And keep in mind, even after he severed the muscles in her leg and arm, she managed to disrupt his nervous system from a blow to the neck before he even saw her move. She THEN went on to fight Orochimaru and kick his a**. And you're right, an acid spitting giant slug is comparable to nunchucks :sy:
Tsunade duh. She can survive being impaled and already has a naturally strong senju body. Guy won't kill her and once he's weakened from gates he'll get killed
Allow me to point out something. The only time. Tsunade has ever been blitzed is in the middle of an aerial rebound. It was it that instant that Kabuto cut her abdomen muscles and her arm muscles. Moving with you abdomen muscles severed is nearly impossible which why she couldn't dodge the attack her her lung area. However after that no one has actually blitzed her. The next time she got hit she literally threw herself.... in fact I'm about to quote myself no way I'm typing all of this again.
Huge Chakra Reserves - I think this point really expresses itself. Being a Senju and being gifted with the Senju body of the Sage and the Uzumaki longevity she has been granted a lot of chakra which is how she healed the entire village during Pein's attack or how she could heal from the wounds Madara inflicted when Kabuto couldn't heal from the damage of a rasengan
Creation Rebirth/ Byakougou - Either of these two techniques grant her immortality in battle
Unparalleled Strength- Her strength is unparalleled. According to the databook and Naruto Wiki Tsunade naturally has monster strength. However she adds to her punches and kicks by building chakra in the body part that is going to make contact then releasing it as soon as contact is made... essentially it's chakra explosions. She took Orochimaru out with one punch when his body was fairly healthy. (not his arms but his body). In perspective a sick Oro withstood 4tails naruto attacks

Precise Chakra Control- Once again fairly self explanatory and I think her yin seal proves it. In addition to her strength.
Intelligence-Take the war with Pein for instance, she strategically sent Naruto away to get stronger rather than following the advice the advisers, rather than taking pein head on, she healed the entire village, she had Katsuya everywhere that way everyone could gain more info on Pein instantly. In the fight with Madara she devised an attack on Madara so that the other kages could attack him while he responded to her attack. When she was fighting kabuto and her lungs were messed up she pseudoparalyzed him so that she could heal. As per her rules for Medical Ninja she understands the strategies necessary to keep a team alive.
Medical Ninjutsu- self-healing techniques only paralleled by Hashirama, but in general medical jutsu she is unmatched. Which is why Lee is a shinobi today. Why Oro came to her, when he already had Kabuto, why she was able to heal an entire village at once, and why she was able to quickly and near effortlessly undue the damage done to Kakashi and Sasuke by Itachi's Tsukyomi. Which leads me to believe that Genjutsu won't be very effective on her as she firstly has such excellent chakra control as mentioned above so if she stops her chakra flow the genjutsu is ended in addition to knowledge of how it works, how it affects the brain, and how to treat it.
Katsuya- I think Katsuya is underated. No she isn't really a battle slug but consider this a hundred of those kid-sized katsuyas spitting acid. Or given how Tsunade was able to heal the village through Katsuya and she was going to kill Orochimaru with Medical Ninjutsu if a small katsuya a few inches long is stuck on an opponent Tsunade needs only to channel the technique through Katsuya to kill an opponent. I can see Tsunade inacting this jutsu while multitasking as she always holds the jutsu that keeps her looking young, while using augmented monster strength, while using forbidden jutsus, or how she keeps up her technique while she heals.In addition to the obvious fact that Katsuya can crush people.
Body Pathway Derangement- This technique would disable nearly anyone who does not have a lightening cloak. Kabuto was a prodigy and it took him some time to figure out how to move. Should she use this technique she could smash her opponent while they were unable to move or you know slit their throat.
Dexterity-Contrary to popular belief Tsunade is not slow. She's only ever been hit four times in combat from what we've seen.

Tsunade's chakra reserves are huge. So if she enters Byakougou she doesn't need to see him he's going to try to Hirudora her... and she's gonna be back up and he's gonna go wtf? then try morning peacock. She'll get back up and he's going to be screwed.
I think if we forget if Tsunade really strikes the ground while Gai is running.... he will faceplant and kill himself. Those are just basic logical problems of running too fast.

In addition he just doesn't have the feats that are on par with hers.
In strength he loses, in durability he loses, in stamina he loses based on Tsunade's feat on healing an entire village when healing requires a lot of chakra, in speed he wins, in summons he looses, in skills he looses, in creativity he losses, in intelligence he doesn't really have feats but I don't think he's stupid. But against Tsunade he's outmatched.:scorps:

Tsunade is said to be unsurpassed in Taijutsu so I'm gonna leave it at that.
True Guy is faster than her, but this isn't a race, as soon as Guy tries to engage Tsunade in close combat he will be incapacitated by Tsunade's medical Nin-Taijutsu and then killed by a strike from her immense strength.
Even if Guy opens the 7-8 gates he still will not be able to kill her due to Byakouya(spelling) regeneration. You can't beat Tsunade with just Taijutsu, that goes for anybody.
With that being said Tsunade will outlast Guy and finish him.
Guy would regret even engaging Tsunade in battle after none of his techniques kill her.
