Might Guy vs Kakuzu

So out of sleep deprivation I thought of this thread. I was doing some thinking about Gai and you know some people he obviously outclasses, and others are obviously superior. And Many of the good fights already so many threads about them. So this fight finally occurred to me.

Location: Kakashi vs Kakuzu
Intent: To kill, In character
Knowledge: Gai is vaguely aware that Kakuzu has five lives, Kakuzu is aware that Gai is great taijutsu specialist
Restrictions: 8 Gates
Starting Distance: 35 meters

FRS tore through 3 of Kakuzu's hearts.

Both Morning Peacock and Hirudora are stronger than FRS and Gai showed the ability to use both seconds away.

Gai should win.

Except Morning Peacock .. cant hit more then one target? .. and might not even break domu both of them are taijutsu..the most physical attacks (which domu was said to be impervious to).. it all depends on if guy can break domu really.... Although in gates he deffenintly has the speed advantage

You're overlooking the reason FRS was so successful

So Hirudora and FRS aren't even comparable
And you certainly can't compare FRS and Asujaku one is a futon and the former works as a katon

kakuzu.He is very underrated.The man fought the first hokage even withouth Earth Grudge Fear and survived.He was going to kill kakashi if naruto and yamato didn't interfere.He is way smarter than gai and has much more experience.

To be fair, given the first hokage's personality I'm not sure he would unnecessarily kill. Thus, I don't know how much of a feat surviving is.

Guy having knowledge on Kakuzu's five hearts would immediatly open the gates to blitz and kill him before he uses all of his hearts however since Kakuzu has knowledge on Guy being a proficent taijutsu user I see him using his doton heart right off the bat using it to use Earth Grudge on the ground to capture Guy's feet but again as we know Guy has knowledge on his hearts so he casually jumps out of the way of it.


I would say Kakuzu high diff, Morning Peacook is short range which is a bad aganist a long ranged fighter like Kakuzu and even if he does manage to hit a heart with it the other hearts can kill him while he attacks it so I think his better off using Daytime Tiger but that can be countered by Kakuzu's other hearts ninjutsus it might destroy a couple of hearts but Guy if he uses it in gates which would be the best option or it would be too weak to cause any major damage would lose all of his stamina from it.

Seeing how Kakazu is slower in reaction than Naruto, I'd say that Gai could win, assuming that Kakazu doesn't hide one of his hearts underground for a surprise attack.
