Might Guy vs Hiashi Hyuga

This is pretty much as basic as it seems Konoha's Taijutsu powerhouses knocking each other around. We haven't seen much of Hiashi but we do know that he trained Neji. It seems he still has Neji beat with the Hyuga style of Taijutsu.

I don't see why not. It's a simple punch backed with Air pressure. The air pressure could be redirected with Rotation and Gai's attack is stopped.
Let's not forget that Hiashi has a one hit kill move as well. Well alot of kill moves...

Maybe Hiashi is able to block Gai's moves,we just saw huge Kaiten from him. For Konoha, Hyuga Clan is best at Taijutsu and Hiashi must be in top 5 powerful members of Hyuga. I will go with Hiashi.

I'm going with Hiashi on this, but he'll win by just a hairs breath.

During the Chuunin Exams, Lee stated that Jyuken is the most powerful form of taijutsu in Konoha:

Being acknowledged as the most powerful form of taijutsu by taijutsu specialists means something.

At the high end of that spectrum I'd imagine that a master of Jyuken, not to mention the head of the clan who wields it, can go head to head with a master of Goken (Gai and Lee's style).



A final note, it doesn't matter how insanely buff Gai is. Jyuken attacks would damage him just the same as anyone else. You can't train your internal organs. This even applies to fitness nuts like Gai.

gai doesnt enter every gate. he opens one and uses that. and besides gentle fist is the perfect counter to gai's style. hiashi wont let him go to gates anyways. vaccum palm
