I doubt he would ever get caught in it, but if he were to he doesn't stand a chance of breaking it. As for reasons why not, I don't feel the need to give them. Especially since you yourself don't explain why opening the sixth gate would break it.

The gates open chakra reserves so perhaps one of them could give him enough Yin chakra to break out or resist it.

Well, does it need to weave hand signs or cross his arms together to open the gates to disrupt his chakra. Or can he just say "6th gate of joy OPEN!" /

The point is he still having a chakra although not to often to use it, Im doubt that he and his past generation the only human that dont having a chakra.

That mean in no way after getting genjutsu'd, he able to move
