Hello NB, this is a theory I have of what the 8th Gate's true attack might be! Now, it may just be a theory, but I think it might be possible!

Now, we all know what the 6th Gate Of Joy's attack is: Asakujaku, or Morning Peacock!

Also, we know that the 7th Gate Of Shock's attack is: Hirudora, or Daytime Tiger!

Gai's Summon is a Turtle!

Now Naruto has a lot of Mythology behind it, that with Susano'o, Amaterasu, Raikiri, ect...
So, after some research involving those three specific animals, plus Asian Mythology, I came across this!

The Four Guardians of The Compass! Sijin in Japan, and Shishen to the Chinese!
Now, here is a good image describing the exact thing!

Now, what animals do we see there? That's right, Turtle, Peacock (Bird), and Tiger! The only one missing is Dragon!

Well, in the Anime there has been evidence of a Dragon based Taijutsu attack, while the episode is Filler, some things from Fillers have been shown in the actual series! The following is the Dragon Attack, with explanations, in the spoiler.
Now, in the anime, a Taijutsu Master is introduced: Master Chen, strong enough to go 1 v 1 with Gai, each in base, but that doesn't matter. What does matter is his attack!
Konoha Ryūjin, or Leaf Dragon God!

Now, that's awesome. Apart from that, it's the last missing Compass Guardian, a Dragon!
If it turns out to be a Dragon based attack, it will probably be Red, not Green. This is due to Madara, and Gai's comments about the Red Steam.

And:

Now, many are asking: What does the Red Steam mean?

Well, we know that the 6th Gate of Joy releases a fine Green Steam:

Now, the 7th Gate of Shock emits a Blue Steam, that's evaporated sweat, thanks to all the heat!:

Finally, the 8th Gate of Death! I theorize that it will unleash a Red Steam of Blood! I believe that the user's body temperature will surpass 100 Celsius (212 Fahrenheit)! His body will be so hot that his Blood will boil, literally, and will seep out of his pores! This will mix with the 7th Gate's evaporating sweat, and the Red Steam will surface!

Congratulations on reading this far! Let me know what you think of my theory, it's actually my first! If this is well received I'll try to make more!

Serious? Oh man, I'm sorry, I looked on the forums and everything. Well could we at least get a link, so we can redirect people to the earlier post?
Once again sorry. :(

Really cool theory you got here. I don't think anyone before you brought up the guardians, so you get an free cookie.

I've predicted a dragon move also. Kishi did theme Gai and Rocks looks after Bruce Lee. I'm betting on a chapter title, Enter the Dragon. Good Thread plus rep.

i thought about this aswell quite a nice myth aswell one of my favourite myths :)

southern suzuaku - phoenix/crane - fire
northern genbu - tortoise - water
western byako - tiger - wind
eastern seriyu - Dragon - lightning

thinking about the way gai's attacks look the morning peacock resembled balls of fire
hirudora resembed wind

is it safe to say that his next technique will be a lightning looking attack and be a dragon

@Everyone, thanks for the rep!
Glad you enjoy the theory, it was something that was on my mind for a very long time now!

@CDT23, Yeah XD, but since it's Gai we're talking about it would probably be "Enter The Youth" lol XD

Exactly! That's what I was thinking two!

We know that Asakujaku uses the Fireballs, representing the Fire Bird (Peacock)
We know the Hirudora launches a punch of compressed air, representing the Tiger
The Tortoise/Turtle represents water.
Only thing missing? Dragon, which you said represents lightning!

We know that the 8th gate is the last stop in the chakra network. I believe opening the 8th gate will cause chakra to mix in/bind with the blood.

It will definitely be a dragon attack

its fitting aswell since the last element (earth) and creature which is guarded by the 4 animals is also supposed to represent death
