How does SM even change anything? SM is used to enhance ninjutsu, it won't enhance taijutsu to a much higher level than it is already.

Gai can only go up to seven gates in case you guys haven't noticed. He loses to Naruto, Sasuke, Madara, Hashirama, Obito and Nagato.
