Might Gai Overrated or Underrated ?

People been making threads about Gai Overrated lately(which I do agree to a certain extent), but is he really Overrated or Underrated?

Obviously, all Gai has is his Taijutsu and yet he has been said to be more than an equal to any to any opponent in the Akatsuki by Kishi himself

He even defeated Kisame even when Kisame had the geographical advantage..something the Five tails Jin couldn't do

Kisame said to reach Gai's level is rare even though this is the third time he's seen Gai

He was noted to be faster than Kakashi even without his gates..even while sasuke (part 1) was looking at him face to face, he was soo fast sasuke didn't notice him move from his spot until after sometime when he appeared behind them..this was without gates as well

During the Invasion, he was fast enough to take out a ninja before naruto realized what was happening, he also showed his true strength over there with no enhancement

As for stamina, we all know he can go on for a long. He was even able to use hirudora at his limit

Even Juubi Jin Madara said he underestimated Gai

Having said that, people sometimes overrate him but asides that, he's truly a beast and stronger than a lot of people think

I wouldn't say he's underrated or overrated. It's just that people are talking about him much more than usual because he's currently the focus of the manga

He is strong and I do not think he is underrated. As for what Madara said about him underestamating Gai that translation is wrong. In the Viz translation Madara says," He insults me, not bringing out the red vapor."
