Might Gai Appreciation Thread!!!

then fight kisame for intel and took the ***** outta the picture for the rest cause hed be a pain in the war

then run to fight in war vs many reanimation and zetsu to go fight jins and obito

then 10 tails

and saves kakashi from immediate death then pushed madara back almost killing him and saving the world

whilst still dealt enough time for the real heroes to revive? arrive.. TBH he did more in that lil fight with madara then what the current two heroes did and are doing, cause of plot or less skillfull

This is an interesting thread with a lot of well constructed arguments, and it's definitely a subject I think about often. Obviously, the answer to this question is highly subjective, and I don't believe there is a single right answer. I like reading everyone's opinion on the matter, though, and I hope this discussion goes on.

if akatsuki or any attacked naruto while he was on his way to train he was the muscle this was the five kage agreement naruto was very important remember they didnt need him to be in harm??

OT: I agree. Might Gai is the epitome of hard work. His fighting style is awesome too and he's willing to die to prove his values and protect the youth of the future. He's an admirable man and a well-written character as well.

You are right up until your last point. Gai did nearly kill Godara but that's all he did was nearly kill him not kill him. Godara only had 1 rinnegan and was not fused with the God Tree nor did he have the third eye rinnegan. Sasuke and Naruto faced a much more powerful Godara who fused with the God Tree and got the chakra from the people the god tree had already sucked up and Godara had 2 rinnegan and got the juubi eye afterwards. Godara didn't even use limbo on Gai who can't even sense or see the limbo clones like sasuke or naruto, that means and shows Godara held back just to see the 8th gate power. Gai wouldn't have been able to do shit to 30 chibaku tensei spheres when his air strikes was only about 9.

i can agree to that

but aat the same time pre jubi madara used limbo on all the tailed beast at once. how come he never used it as a jin until he sucked the tree and got both eyes???? maybe plot or gai was simply to fast and overwhelming? or cause he had his TSB and that was more effective??

Well yeah, but that's not nothing. It's a huge accomplishment to almost kill someone who is arguable practically a god, especially using only Taijutsu.

u for got gai befor gai went tew help kakshi he was falling and had lee hold him up yet save kakashi use 7 gates

break a arm and crush ribs yet uses 8 gates and still do that
