ok, i will tell you why i think mifune wins:

1) he is fast, sasuke had little time to block with his sword and yet only because he infused it with his lightning chakra he was able to block mifune´s attack

2) no hand seals work on mifune, if i remember correctly, ALL kakashi´s strong jutsus need hand seals

and PLEASE don´t give me that crap about Kamui beating him, KAKASHI NEVER USES KAMUI ON THE BEGINNING OF HIS FIGHT

kakashi ftw, kakashi can more than trick mifune with shadow clones, its said hes really good in doing that by chouji dad and kamui or any of kakashi genjutsu dont need hand seals.

for what i have seen, kakashi isn´t some sort of genjutsu master as he only used it in training with team 7 never again, that shows that he´s not some sort of master with it + that only genjutsu kakashi did show us needs 2 hand seals and is only D-rank

Very close battle, but Ill have to say Kakashi with this one. But only just. I say so because Kakashi has the Sharingan and would be able to use it to counter Mifune's samurai techs. Also, because Kakashi is a ninja

Kakashi is better than sasuke in close combat skill and raikiri requires no handseal.so as sasuke without using ms stopped mifune i thnk kakashi can do that to.he stopped zabuza twice and zabuza is a great swordsman.
