Let's see. Mifune's blade sliced through a metal scythe like butter and that was without a flow of chakra in the blade. Mifune's maximum chakra flow should give him enough power to handle Asuma's Wind-Style knives.

While I don't think Mifune would win that easily, he has a superior CQC, so it should give him the medium or high difficulty.

Altough i think Asuma is underrated, Mifune is too (who is low kage level imo, he lacks feats).

Mifune's speed is enough to take the small oppoening created by hand seals, so he's fast enough to keep Asuma under pressure, ans since it seems his CQC is better he ends taking this match. Med-High diff.

Damn, good match-up, but I can't see Mifune losing this. This will basically boil down to CQC since Asuma isn't using any of his ninjutsu vs the likes of Mifune, and Mifune will more then likely win that.

He has better reaction feats then Asuma, and logically should be faster in CQC considering his ninjutsu interruption talent.

asumas style, is unfortunately, fodder for mifune... he prolly gets 1-shot by Iaido

out of character asuma could maybe push mid diff if he starts out w/ ash clouds, but he'll still end up in mifunes sword range, which is 3 times longer & exponentially faster than his own.

3 times longer than his hien enhanced blades? Im pretty sure Asuma has the reach advantage and he would cut through Mifunes sword like butter if given the chance.

Still favour Mifune though.

No, Sasuke's Raiton sword was on par with Mifune's regular chakra sword. Asuma's Futon blades are merely going to be on par, but his skills being massively inferior means Mifune definitely wins this without much trouble.
