Mifune The samurai "fun facts" for your leisure

Idk if anyone ever really picked up on this, but he's an homage to the phenomenal japanese actor Toshiro Mifune.....who starred in such famous films playing samurai such as: The seven samurai, Yojimbo(my favorite), sanjuro, and throne of blood.

Yojimbo was the movie which the Clint Eastwoods "the man with no name" character was based on, and also a "fist-ful of dollars" had the exact same plot.

Yojimbo was also the name of the samurai-like summon in Final Fantasy X =P

Mifune's sword is also named Kurosawa, the name of the Director of the movies I've listed =P

Never really saw any threads on this and just thought I should make one. Great movies, so check them out if you ever get the chance! ^_^

Throughout the series, Kishi also homenages other famous people. I remember in the fight Chyio+Sakyra Vs Sasori they mentioned a famous japanese puppeteer.

I've noticed lol I didn't know about the puppet master guy though

I also know that amaterasu, susanoo, tsukyomi, etc. is all from japanese legend
