Do you think the five wizards mainly gandalf, saruman could have defeated Sauron if he they had been allowed to??
They were all Maiars, I think they could have.

Gandalf can freaking teleport(he done it in the first movie). F*ck Gandalf. He's just acting like everyone are his *****es. And he's not doing shiz.

Not without using the One ring, which would have meant they would be corrupted by it. Saruman had already been corrupted by Sauron through his use of the Palantir. Even those using the elvish rings of power, while not made by Sauron, would be subject to corruption because Sauron showed the Elves the methods to forge them.

Sauron while in his necromancer form beat Gandalf. I highly doubt they could take Sauron on if he has the One Ring.

That is debatable. The fact is the istaris were not allowed to oppose sauron directly.

That was for their own protection. The Valar knew how easy it was to be corrupted. One of the major themes throughout the series is that even those seeking to overcome evil are themselves subject to corruption by employing the methods of violence and destruction, even in the cause of good. This is one of the reasons why the powerful, like Aragorn, Gandalf, and Theoden wanted the hobbits near them. To remind them of what they fight for and to ward off the corrupting influence of violence, hatred, and war.

the largest part of Sauron's power was his command over the largest army in Middle Earth

Gandalf was certainly the wisest of the Maiar and they are the same race, you can't compare them like 2 manga characters based on power in a 1v1 fight, there is more to power in Tolkiens world than pure strength, they were the masterminds of the 2 opposing factions, one ruled absolutely over what he had created, Olorin was only to guide the ones willing to fight for Middle Earth and even despite that he triumphed at the end

If Sauron had his ring, no. His power eclipses theirs. To the point where it was suffocating a Gandalf the Grey just by being near it.
