Microsoft word help

Hi everyone hope you're enjoying your week thus far, I hate to be annoying because I go to NARUTOBASE every time I have an issue that can be solved by Google, which I googled.

But Idk what to specifically search for.

Basically I'm using Microsoft word for an 8 page paper and it's due at 5, and all a sudden my shit just freezes, doesn't let me edit it, click on the page, even exit it out. I'm using a MacBook, the red light X at the top left corner will not light up. Nothing I do works *sasuke voice when he's trapped in the desert* so can somebody please help me. This shit is frustratinf

Are you using the unregistered version..? Or you may be using safe mode which doesn't allow you to edit external files U_U
