KM and BM Explained: Minato is a Genius, but not This Time.
Well guy, I am back with another theory, and I hope we will discuss it until next chapter, or just bring some ideas to answer the question. I expecting contribution from all the smart guys and expert in the narutoverse. Recently, after Minato went in BM, is already fanboyist fanbase became agitated and over-excited about how smart he is. Here are some of the things they said:
I know Minato is a genius, but I think his fanbase is exaggerating some facts. Well, apart from these, there is another concern about the mode Minato is using as the fandom want to compare him to Naruto. So some are saying these:
First, I will give my opinion about (1) and (2) then give my answer to (a)-(c).
1. (1) and (2): Saying that Minato did not need training to use Yin chakra is ridiculous.
Yes, I think it is ridiculous, and it is the result of misconception/misunderstanding of the manga. The reason is that we have this equation:
When Minato used the Shiki Fujin, he targeted only the Yin, and did not take any will from Kyuubi. He took a pure chakra, and therefore, there is no need to go through a thug war like Naruto. Thus, Minato is just like Naruto after taking Kyuubi chakra and storing somewhere inside himself. As everyone know, the only struggle of Naruto was to separate the Yang from the Will. Loading the Yang as Minato did was straightforward. Thus, all the hypes about Minato have no grounding. The reason being that Minato is just loading the Yin he store in himself with the Shiki Fujin.
2. (a)-(c): The correct view of MInato's mode with respect to Naruto's is the Yin-Yang view
I will be straight in this:
- Naruto's KM is a pure Yang mode.
- Minato is in a KM which I refer to as a Yin mode ( we all knows he only have Yin)
Now, if you look at Naruto's KM, he has no Rikudo Sennin coat. He only have his own clothes with some new markings. Besides, the magatama are only on his neck (or his own clothes). In addition, there is no permanent marking on Naruto's hands and feet. This means that in KM, Naruto does not show some of the traits we can see on Minato in his Yin KM. However, when Naruto goes in BM, he has all his KM traits (Yang) along with all Minato's KM traits (Yin).
COnsequently, this means that the BM is actually a Yin-Yang mode, while KM is either a Yin or a Yang mode.
So my analysis of the situation is that Kyuubi as he is inside Naruto has recovered his Yin as well. Minato has the Yin he took when Naruto was born, but Kyuubi has regenerated a new Yin. I also think that it is not possible to take the Yin in the same way Naruto took the Yang. Taking the Yin peacefully requires the agreemnet of the Biju. This is why Minato took it by Shiki Fujin.
Conclusion: BM = Yang KM (Naruto) + Yin KM (Minato). You can place the two images together to see that. Furthermore, only Naruto have Kyuubi consciousness in him.
