Element Explanation
Water is a more or less passive element by nature. It flows freely and takes the shape of whatever it is contained in. I call it passive as it is a yielding element which goes and flows however the external forces and nature dictate it to. For example; still water will move and ripple at the slightest touch, a river flowing straight will move around a rock and take an alternate direction instead of just going through the rock. Wind can cause water to move in different directions. This is one of the reasons why water, a yielding element, is opposite to earth, an unyielding element. That rock in the bank of the river will not move for the water, it will stay firm. If the rock were to walk through the river straight, the water would go around the rock, not the other way around. This is a rudimentary understanding, however water itself can be very powerful and forceful. A large enough mass of water may un-root the rock if strong enough. Water may be condensed to a fine area and move at great speeds to cause a powerful impact. That is where variables come in, which is what any element manipulates, the variables of the properties that can enhance an element's potential. If you want to look at things in terms of balance, Taoism and philosophies behind water and it's general movement. Water is the Yin half, not forceful, yielding and water redirects energy instead of meeting it head on.

Method 1: Basic Projectiles

These techniques involve creating projectiles like shuriken or kunai. Shuriken and Kunai are examples of projectiles and are not limited to that scope. When you hear and think of projectiles, you think of objects that you launch or project towards your opponent. They're something that leaves your possession and travels towards your opponent. There is nothing different when it comes to suiton projectiles. All you're doing is launching water at your opponent as you would any other projectile. With water and any other element that uses projectiles you tend to use a lot of shape manipulation. Reason is, is because you need to make the projectiles strong enough damage your opponent (pierce them, knock them back with blunt force, etc). Water or any other element at its base is just raw unformed element. By using shape manipulation you form the shape of the projectile you want. As well, you also compress the element to a degree which allows for a certain density which is always good. With these water projectiles, most of the time you will be exhaling them from the mouth (exceptions may exist). You will first inhale and focus the chakra from your core and channel it up into your lungs and mouth. You will then exhale; the chakra you gathered in your mouth helps propel the water, and the mouth is the point of release. You use shape manipulation to form the water into whatever shape you need it to be, whether it be a ball or something more advanced like a shark. The water is also compressed in a tight container (the boundaries you create by shaping it) therefore when it makes impact with the target they'll generally receive a blunt impact that knocks them back and suffer damage as a result. Also, if fast enough and small enough, the density from the tightly compressed nature and the speed may be able to pierce like a bullet. Using other mediums of release for projectiles, you would simply channel your chakra into a different location and then follow the rest of the procedures of releasing the water, and shaping it for the desired effect.

(Suiton No Jutsu) - Water technique

Note: Doesn't require a water source but can be used to manipulate existing water.

The user will manipulate their Water chakra and through focusing their Water chakra to their hands, be able to fire shots of Water and form small shields of Water. With a Water source present, the user is able to manipulate the Water source by focusing their Water chakra into it. This allows the user to create small waves of Water.

Description: The user will manipulate one of their water clones to dissolve back to water and turn into four pointed projectiles that shoot at the target.

Note: Must create a water clone before hand.

A technique used after the user has a Water clone on the field. The user will then focus their Water chakra into the clone, allowing the user to dissolve the clone back into its water form. This water is then formed into four projectiles, which are shot towards the opponent.

Description: The user will first strike their target with couple of punches and kicks them lifting the target into the air and the user will then concentrate their chakra into their palm and then swinging their arm in a arc they release chakra creating a cresent blade of water that strike the target.

The user will deliver several punches and kicks to the opponent. They will then make sure the opponent gets into the air, where they will then concentrate their Water chakra to their palm. Through a swing of their arm, the user will unleash a crescent blade of Water in an arc, striking the airborne opponent.

Description: After making the ram hand seal the user generates water around their right arm and then by thrusting their arm forwards they release the water in the form of a projectile bullet that drives through the opponent pushing them back several feet.

The user will form a single hand seal and generate Water around their right arm, through focusing their Water chakra to it. By thrusting their arm forward, the user is able to unleash the Water in the form of a bullet, that blasts the opponent back quite some distance and of course, causes blunt damage.

Description: The user condenses water vapour in the air above them to generate multiple projectiles of water which shoot at their target with a great amount of force and speed. The user can also shoot a barrage of small water projectiles directly from the swing of their hand.

The user will focus their Water chakra, and through manipulation, condense the Water vapor in the air above themselves. This allows the user to manifest forth several projectiles of Water which are shot towards the opponent. Alternatively, the user is also able to launch several projectiles of Water with a swing of their hand.

Description: A technique where the user spits out a single senbon-shaped droplet of water with high velocity which is hard to avoid. Once the droplet hits anything, it forcefully bursts and hurts the target. While the technique lacks the force to seriously endanger somebody, it can be used to weaken enemies while they are distracted.

The user will focus Water chakra into their mouth, and focus and shape it. This allows the user to unleash a single senbon of Water towards the opponent, causing it to be deadly when aimed at specific areas, bursting once it impacts.

Description: A technique in which chakra is kneaded in the user's body, transformed into water and then shaped into senbon in the mouth before finally being expelled at a high velocity. The needles are shot in an attempt to catch the enemy off guard, while also aiming at their vitals.

The user will focus their Water chakra into their mouth. This allows the user to expel from their mouth, a senbon of Water that has a solidity to it. This senbon travels very fast, and can be used to accurately pierce the opponent in vital spots.

(Suiton: Sawarabi no Shubyou) - Water Release: Dance of the Seedlings

Description: The user will spew a large drilling water bullet from their mouth, which will then travel in a linear fashion at fair speeds similar to that of Drilling Wind Bullet. During its flight, the bullet will seperate into 10 smaller, pebble-sized drilling water bullets. Each diverges far from the path taken by the original bullet's, and flies in arcs at great speeds that are angled in such a way as to assault a target from multiple directions in quick succesion. As each bullet strikes the enemy, they expand to the size of a bowling ball, dealing severe damage to the opponent. The division of the bullets timing, is pre-determined by the users intentions upon spewing the bullet.

Note: User is unable to use Water above S-rank in the same turn and the turn after.

The user will focus their Water chakra into their mouth, and spew from it, a large bullet that blasts towards the opponent like a normal projectile. In its flight, this bullet can be separated into 10 smaller ones, which makes them expand over a large area. As the bullets make contact, they expand into the size of a bowling ball. This deals quite some damage upon contact.


Method 2: Streams/Water Sources

This method involves creating constant streams of water as well as creating water sources. What this mean is, the techniques in this method continuously releases water and/or creates such large masses of water, it provides a suitable water source for you to use other Suiton techniques that do need a source of water. You'll likely have to constantly fuel the techniques with your chakra in order to keep the on pour of water coming out or else you will not be able to create the streams or the large masses of water. These techniques don't generally require a large amount of shape manipulation. Some techniques do, however, most are just you creating a mass of water or stream of water where you would, therefore, simply pour your chakra into the technique and create an unfocused wave of water that travels towards your destination. These techniques also provide you with a wider range of reach to your opponents. There is also the granted advantage of control over the technique. As opposed to projectiles, where you release them and they become self-sustaining in nature, most of these techniques allow for you to manipulate in different general directions to allow you to hit your target even if they move out of the immediate range.

Advantages to Method

As stated, these techniques give one a greater range of control over the technique seeing as the user will be constantly pouring their chakra into a continuous stream. As the technique is being released it can change the original path you have and make it go other places in the event your opponent tries to avoid it or blocking it with an obstruction. Another major advantage is the fact that some of these techniques are capable of creating water sources. With a large enough technique from this method creating a water source it opens up several more techniques in the element that requires a water source. This, of course, only applies when there isn’t any water already available to you.

Description: A technique that utilizes water to create a sword. The sword can be wielded in the normal fashion, allowing the ninja to cut and stab like with a normal blade.

The user will manipulate their Water chakra and focus it to their dominant hand. This allows the user to manifest forth Water, and use shape manipulation in order to create a sword of Water, which has some solidity to it to be able to pierce the opponent. The sword can be used as any other normal sword is, due to its solidity.

Description: The user will manipulate their water chakra and releasing it from their arm which is held outwards infront of them and they then create a shield of water that can aide in defence against projectile weapons and close combat techniques

The user will manipulate their Water chakra, and release it from their arm. Through using shape manipulation, the user is able to shape this Water into a shield of sorts, which carries with it, a solidity. This makes it capable of blocking solid projectiles launched towards the opponent, and close combat hits from foes.

Descripton: This technique allows the user after claping their hands together to make a spiralling vortex of water to form around them out of nowhere in a vortex like manner. The vortex then proceeds to cascade into an wave of water that rampages towards the intended target or all around. The size and power of the technique is dictated by the amount of chakra put into the technique, varying from C-rank to B-Rank.

The user will focus their Water chakra, and clap their hands together. In doing so, the user will manifest forth a vortex of Water, that forms around the user. This wave of Water can cascade towards the opponent, either going straight towards them or blasting outward, all around the opponent. The amount of chakra inserted into the technique dictates what rank it is, either C or B rank.

(Suiton: Suirou No Jutsu) - Water Style: Water Prison

Description: This technique is used to trap a victim inside a virtually inescapable sphere of water by waving the Snake → Ram → Horse → Hare → Ram → Horse → Hare → Hands spread in front palms out. The only downside to this technique is that the user must keep at least one arm inside the sphere at all times in order for the victim to remain imprisoned. This technique requires a sufficient amount of water, which can be provided by expelling it from one's mouth. Once trapped the target is unable to move while within it due to the heaviness of the water. Because of the density of the water it can be used, to a limited extent, for defensive purposes if performed on oneself. Water clones can be used in preparation for the technique, which block an opponent's attack and trap the attacker in the prison using the clone's own water.

The user will form several hand seals, and manipulates their Water chakra. The user will then spread their palms out towards the opponent, and release from their mouth sufficient Water to manifest the orb of Water around the opponent. However, one arm must remain inside the orb, trapping the opponent. An alternative use to the technique would be to use the Water clone as a way to trap the opponent within it, by sacrificing itself and using its Water that its made up of, to trap the opponent.

Description: After waving the Tiger hand seal the user slams his foot to the ground, causing water to rise up and travel towards his target as a slicing jet.

The user will form a single hand seal, and focus their chakra into their foot. This foot is slammed onto the ground, and allows the user to bring forth a jet of Water that blasts towards the opponent along the ground.

Descripton: A strong water wave spit from the mouth that is more compressed than Chaos Water Wave and can carve the earth if used on the same area multiply times.

The user will manipulate their Water chakra, and focus it to their mouth. This allows the user to unleash a strong wave of Water, that is able to carve the very Earth if used there repeatedly. However, this is a simple Water manipulation technique.

(Suiton: Seibun Hōfutsu) - Water Style: Water Heavens Convergence

Description: After performing the required hand signs Tiger → Dog → Monkey → Snake → Boar → Tiger the user makes water rise from the ground and they can use this water in various ways. They can create a body of water for a water summoning to be encased in and allow them to move around where normally no water exists, or create a body of water to block incoming attacks or surround his target and then drown them.

After forming the hand seals, the user will focus their Water chakra into the ground before them. This allows the user to cause Water to rise up, and be used for different purposes, like blocking attacks or supplementary usages, like shaping the Water around the opponent and drown them within it.

Description: the user will produce a fairly powerful jet of water from the user's hand.

The user will focus their Water chakra into their dominant hand, and point it towards the opponent. This allows the user to unleash a strong jet of Water towards the opponent, and can also be used to easily douse flames and even propel the user into the air when pointed towards the ground.

Description: After performing the required hand seals Boar → Dog → Ram the user creates a waterfall by developing spring water in a place without water veins and manipulating the resulting water current to form a wave. This is a very convenient technique as it can be used for training or relaxation. On the other hand, because it changes the environment on a large scale, it also has the effect of hiding one's location from the enemy by confusing them. The width of the water source, waterfall, and basin can be expended, as long as the user continues to send chakra in.

The user will forms several hand seals, and focus their Water chakra into specific areas in order to bring forth a wave of Water. This can be used to create a Waterfall in conjunction with an Earth technique, and due to it creating a large water source, the user is able to use this to help them perform Water techniques, and also to hide within the source.

Description: The user will manipulate their chakra and then they create water to rise up from the ground beneath the target lifting them into the air.

The user will manipulate their Water chakra, and focus it into the ground beneath the opponent. This allows the user to lift the opponent into the air. Alternatively, the user is also able to lift themselves off the ground with this technique, as it causes no damage and only aims to act as a distraction. For example, it is able to interrupt a sequence of hand seals.

Description: The user will create a moving body of water beneath him that travels towards the opponent carrying the user. They then slash the opponent with their sword multiple times.

The user will focus their Water chakra, and allow it to manifest Water beneath themselves. This water is manipulated to "move" the user around, allowing the user to attack the opponent with a sword, while using the Water as a transport method.

Description: The user first kneads chakra in their mouth and then, placing their hand on their mouth expels water in the form of a whip which they use to lash their opponent, sending them flying backwards.

The user will focus their chakra into their mouth, and place their hand before it. The user will then pull their hand from their mouth, and through shape manipulation, form a whip of Water. This whip can be used to slash the opponent, due to its somewhat solidity.

(Suiton: Nijū inpakuto) - Water Release: Dual Impact

Description: After knocking their opponent into the air, the user performs a series of three handseals: Bird → Dog → Snake, then proceeds to channel their chakra into the water below them. Finally the user, using shape manipulation, will create two water drills that rise on both sides of their opponent & guides it to collide with their torso and back.

The user will form several hand seals, and channel their Water chakra into a Water source. The user will then manipulate the Water in order to create two drills which can be manipulated to strike the opponent. These drills are fully controlled by the user, allowing them to strike the opponent from two different angles.

Description: After waving the Boar → Dog → Ram hand seals, a water vortex created in the palm of the user’s hand that can then be blasted forward creating a spiraling wall of water which can then be used to attack or defend.

After the formation of several hand seals, the user will focus their Water chakra to their palm of their hand. This allows the user to manifest forth a vortex of Water, that is blasted forward. This creates a spiraling wall of Water, which can be used to defend against projectiles and weapons, or simply used to attack the opponent or act as a source for other Water attacks.

Description: After performing the Tiger hand seal the user creates a fast jet of water running through the ground that is powerful enough to slice through solid rock.

The user will form a single hand seal and focus their Water chakra into the ground. This allows the user to bring forth Water in the form of a forward slicing jet of Water, that rips through the ground and can slice through rock. The jet is thin, and is able to slice off limbs and through an opponents' body.

Description: After performing the required hand seals Monkey → Rat → Tiger → Dragon → Horse → Dragon it then allows the user to generate a spinning column of water which will take the form of a snake with a gaping jaw. This snake can twist and follow its targets and swallow them. After it has swallowed them, it turns into a river that carries the enemy away.

The user will form several hand seals, and focus their Water chakra. This allows the user to generate a spinning column of Water which through shape manipulation, will form into a snake with a gaping jaw. This snake is able to swallow the opponent, and turn into a river and carry the opponent away.

(Suiton: Funshutsu Mizu Kinko) - Water Release: Gushing Water Imprisonment

Description: The user creates a flow of gushing water under the opponent which traps them in a sphere of water. The user can perform an attack while the opponent is trapped. This jutsu is similar to Water Prison Technique, though the user doesn't need to keep his arm in the sphere of water.
Note: Technique creates its own water source

The user will focus their Water chakra beneath the opponent. This allows the user to bring forth Water from beneath the opponent, gushing upwards, and aims to trap them within a sphere of Water. This sphere holds the opponent, and the user is able to attack whilst the sphere is actively trapping the opponent.

Description: After waving the Dragon → Tiger → Rabbit hand seals, the user creates a big jet of water that is launched from their mouth. This technique works exceptionally well with Lava Release: Quicklime Congealing Technique to help it become like cement.

The user will form three hand seals, and focus their Water chakra to their mouth. This allows the user to unleash a jet of Water from their mouth, aimed at blasting the opponent with quite some force, and acts to work in collaboration with Lava, to quickly harden it to stone like quality.

(Suiton: Haran Banshō) - Water Release: Stormy Blockade

Description: The user will slam their hands against then ground allowing him/her to summon a massive amount of water from the sky, crushing it into the opponent. If needed, the user can cancel the technique in an instant.
Note: The water needs to be summoned at least 10 meters above the opponent to have any real effect.

The user will slam their hands onto the ground, and focus their Water chakra above the opponent. This allows the user to bring forth a large amount of Water above the opponent, causing it to crash into the opponent below. The Water also acts as a water source, allowing the user to use it if need be. In order for it to cause some form of damage, it needs to be summoned at least 10 meters above the opponent.

(Suiton: Bakusui Shōha) - Water Release: Exploding Water Colliding Wave

Description: The user performs the snake hand seal and creates a large volume of water from their mouth spilling it toward the ground and lifting them up into the air. The user can also ride the wave, allowing him to travel at high speeds and attacking the enemy. The user can create a small ocean worth of water even in barren conditions and can use the water for additional techniques.

The user will form a single hand seal, and manipulate their Water chakra into their mouth and release from it, a large amount of Water. The user will point their head towards the ground, which causes them to be lifted into the air, and also allows the user to ride the wave of Water. This wave can be used to cascade onto the opponent, and also act as a water source of sorts.

Description: The user jumps into the air and then stabs his sword into the ground, where he causes water to burst up around him and creating a pillar of water to rise up in the air repelling the enemy.

The user will jump into the air with their sword in hand, and come down upon the ground. The user will then stab the sword into the ground and focus their Water chakra into the ground. This causes water to burst up all around themselves, which creates a barrier of Water which hits the opponent close enough.

Description: The user unleashes a spiralling torrent of water from his hands.

The user will focus their Water chakra into their dominant hand. This allows the user to unleash a spiraling torrent of Water from their hands, blasting towards the opponent. However, due to its limited range, its best to use when very close to the opponent.

Description: Using their skills with water release, the user creates an orb of water in their hand which they can then release in the form of multiple spearing streams, that they can use to attack their enemy from multiple directions or in spirals.

The user will manipulate their Water chakra, and focus it into their hand. There, the user will form an orb of Water, which can be released in the form of multiple streams of Water. This blasts out in different directions, allowing the user to strike from different areas, making it more difficult to dodge.

(Suiton: Daibakufu no Jutsu) - Water Release: Great Waterfall Technique

Description: After doing the needed hand seals Tiger → Ox → Monkey → Rabbit → Ram → Boar → Ox → Horse → Monkey → Tiger → Dog → Tiger → Snake → Tiger → Ox → Monkey → Rabbit → Bird, the user will form a gigantic vortex of water in the form of a ring in front of him. It will then shoot a gigantic torrent of water that extends water over a large scale, surges upon impact and rises up to several dozen meters high only to collapse down, forming massive waves all around as it does. The effect is such that as its collapsing it resembles a waterfall, hence the name of the technique. In doing so, it resembles a huge wave, with tremendous power that can hollow out the ground. What remains after that technique's utilization is reminiscent of no less than the aftermath of a natural disaster. This is a considerably advanced ninjutsu, and activating this technique requires a fair amount of chakra. The normal use of the technique requires a water source which is manipulated into the technique but some users have shown the ability to use the technique as a water stream exhaled from the mouth and forming more of a gigantic barrage/stream/wave of water rather than the more intricate and complex use of the main application of the technique.

The user will form several hand seals, and focus their Water chakra into their mouth. This allows the user to release Water outward and manipulate it to form a wall around the opponent. This is formed in a circular shape, and allows the user to still see the opponent. The technique can alternatively be used with a Water source.

Description: The user will clap his hands and slam them on the ground, streaming an incredibly rapid stream of water through it, creating a large pool of water beneath the opponent to form, that gushes upwards in a burst, lifting the opponent high into the air. The user does the Bird → Dog → Snake → Rat hand seals after his opponent is mid air, using the water pool to shoot up to 8 small water bullets, designed to further raise the opponent into the air, disorient him and damage him. The water bullets gather above the opponent after hitting and passing through his position and form into a water dragon which then attacks the target, grabbing it in its jaws and forcefully bringing it crashing into the ground. The dragon comes down from above the target, bites the target and coils down, towards the ground, crushing the target between the ground and the now incredible mass of falling water. Tobirama Senju does this technique with his own specific hand seals, similar to how he does some other water techniques. Despite long and seemingly complex, the technique is quite fast to perform and trigger.

The user will clap their hands together, and slam them onto the ground and focus a large amount of Water chakra beneath the opponent. This allows the user to form a large pool of Water, which blasts upwards, hitting the opponent into the air. The user will then form several hand seals once more, and focus their chakra into the pool. This allows the user to unleash up to 8 bullets of Water from the pool of Water, aiming to hit the opponent in the air. These water bullets then gather above the opponent, and form into a large dragon, which grabs the opponent in its jaws, and slams the opponent into the ground damaging them greatly.

After performing the Dragon → Tiger handseals, this technique will summon a large amount of water near the user that will then be used to strike at the opponent in several versatile ways. Shizuku has been known to transform it into a dragon with a gaping mouth to attack though the user can shape it in any way he needs for his intended purpose. The water used will be stationary till it is sent offensively toward the opponent and as long as the user fuels it and the technique isn't fully negated, the Tiger handseal can be sustained and the water manipulated and used. The technique can also be used from nearby water sources, including low rank water techniques, for the same effect. Due to the immense control needed, the technique is considered a highly advanced use of water release, requiring the user to possess a primary water specialty to use.
Note: Can only be used by bios with a primary water specialty.

The user will form two hand seals, and manipulate their Water chakra into the air before them. This allows the user to bring forth Water, a large quantity of it which can be used to shape and form it, into different forms. This can be used to strike the opponent, or defend. The technique can be sustained through holding a single hand seal, and requires the user to be a Primary Specialist in Water Release due to advanced usage.


Method 3: Water Manipulation

These techniques require an existing source of water. This method focuses on using water from a water source and manipulating it to form the techniques we want. When going about using these techniques, you expel the chakra from your body into the water source as opposed to the previous methods where you'd manifest the chakra itself into water. Now, the properties of these techniques vary. There may be projectile type techniques or continuous techniques that require you to constantly focus chakra in order to use. In essence, these techniques may exhibit qualities of water techniques in previous methods but the unique thing about this method would be that you'd need a water source for these.

Advantages of Method

You receive the same benefits as you would with the previous two methods as there are techniques in this method that incorporate the previous methods. That being said, an existing water source opens up several more options for water release. Also, while it is not necessary for the previous cases, the very same techniques in the previous methods can be used with a water source. In essence, the main advantage of this method is the versatility it allows.

Disadvantages of Method

The main disadvantage to this method is the fact that these techniques require a water source in order for you to use. Unlike the last method where you are capable of manifesting large masses of water out of nowhere and even creating a water source, these techniques require a medium that is outside your constant realm of access. In battles where you do not have the pre-existing source of water you become incapable of using these techniques or become forced to set yourself up with a technique that provides you a water source.

Description: Ryuutai Suteppu is a very simple taijutsu technique with the enhancement of water. When being attacked in close range, the user will focus his chakra in the moisture of the air and materialize water beneath his feet. He will then use that water to slide back and forth in the ground as if he were standing on ice. However unlike ice, the user has complete control over his fluid movements. Can be used quite effectively to boost the randomness of movement when using Drunken Style. This technique will last for two turns, but the user will be restricted in using no other elemental affinities.

Note: Can be used twice per event.

The user will focus their Water chakra beneath them, in order to focus it to their feet. This allows the user to slide along the ground with the water and use this to slide back and forth akin to sliding on ice. This allows the user to move more swiftly and is able to make unpredictable movements and engage easier in close combat.

Description: The user will perform three consecutive handseals, then followed by the user kneading a great quantity of chakra into their feet. This chakra manifests from the user's legs and feet, making it seem as though water is running down their legs and onto the ground. And in turn, the water is a takes the form of incredible small parasites that'll scatter across the field and cover a large area whilst charging toward a target. Once the parasites reach their target, they'll crawl up the enemy's legs, covering them head-to-toe, while forcefully trying to enter the victim's body via their skin or an orifice. The results range from sever pain to internal bleeding, and to suffocation.

The user will form several hand seals and the user will then focus their Water chakra into their feet. This allows the user to release Water onto the ground, and cause the water to form into small parasites that spread across the field. These parasites then aim to climb onto the opponent's legs, and forcefully enter their skin, in order to cause pain, internal bleeding and also suffocate.


Method 4: Alternative Releases

This method will be easy. Basically these are techniques that create a different substance than the water, however, they still fall within the category of Suiton release (they're liquids). They are liquids that possess different properties than ordinary water, for example: Oil and syrup. Oil is a flammable substance, one wouldn't use this to combat fire but rather fuel it, and with syrup you create a much stickier viscosity of liquid that doesn't necessarily flow as fast as water but it gives a more adhesive property to it.

Advantages to Method

They don’t follow the traditional rules for suiton techniques meaning the techniques have a fairly new set of rules that govern them. This is both an advantage and a disadvantage. It is an advantage as you become capable of using these techniques in situations where you may not normally be able to because of an elemental weakness or some other occurrence.

Disadvantage of Method

As said above, the fact that these techniques don’t follow traditional suiton rules also comes as a disadvantage. Though you may be able to use these techniques in situations where you normally couldn’t at the same time you may become vulnerable in another situation where you weren’t previously with other water techniques. For example; you wouldn’t use an oil rain technique when your opponent is spewing a fire at you. Oil augments fire and even though it’s still “water release” it is a disadvantage.

(Kirigakure No Jutsu) - Hidding in Mist Jutsu

Description: This displacement technique creates a thick mist to spring forth by lifting up some water from either a pre-existing source or expelled from their mouth, then goes in and out of sight at will from within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it. It can't fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan and Rinnegan-user will see the mist coloured by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dōjutsu.
Note: Can be created through releasing from mouth or manipulating a nearby water source.

The user will focus their Water chakra into their mouth, and then manipulate it into a mist. This is then released outward, covering the field. Alternatively, the user is also able to use a Water source to form the mist. This mist is able to fool both the Sharingan and Rinnegan, due to the entire mist being made with the users' chakra.

Description: The user After performing the required hand seals Ram → Tiger spits out high-viscosity, chakra infused water, aimed at a surface of wide scope. This is a stream of sticky liquid which can be used to form an adhesive trap that can inhibit a person's mobility. One can effectively reduce their enemy's area of activity with this technique, and has the effect of being able to take complete control over the battlefield. The normal scope of this technique is normally just a few metres, but if prepared, it is also possible to make an entire pond of starch syrup. Being caught in the technique can be avoided by channelling chakra to one's feet allowing one to walk upon it uninhibited, beforehand.

The user will form the necessary hand seals, and focus their Water chakra to their mouth. The user will then expel from their mouth a very high viscosity adhesive water, which is able to stick an opponent and projectiles. Due to its method of use, the user is able to expel it over a large area.

Description: Using the hidden mist jutsu the user reflects the natural light an a way that it blinds there opponent temporarily as long as the opponent is in the mist.
Note: Must have already used hidden mist jutsu

After having used the Hidden Mist technique, the user will manipulate their Water chakra in order to reflect natural light in a different way. This allows the user to manipulate in a way to blind the opponent, while they are inside the mist.

Description: A technique known by Kirigakure Shinobi where the user first performs the following handseals: Ram → Dog → Rat, and then they make it rain. Any chakra that comes into contact with this rain will be eaten and reduces the power of the techniques by -10 damage. This technique lasts three turns.

Note: Can only be used by biographies from Kirigakure.

A technique where the user will form the needed hand seals, and focus their Water chakra. This causes it to rain, where the rain will carry special properties, allowing it to eat chakra as it makes contact with techniques, reducing its power by 10 damage points, and lasting three turns.

Description: After kneading chakra in the stomach and converting it to high-viscosity water, the user spits it out, in the form of ropes that restrains the target's movement. Because of the viscosity of the water, it is even more difficult for them to escape its confines.

The user will knead their Water chakra in their stomach, and release from their mouth a high viscosity Water. This is unleashed in the form of ropes, that restrain the opponent's movements, and makes it difficult to escape it.

Description: After the user performs a series of 3 hand seals Rat → Dog → Ox, the user creates a whip of water that can be used to strike the opponent with a lashing action or wrap around the target to bind them. This technique can also have lightning techniques channeled through when they have bound their victim with the water whip

The user will form the needed hand seals, and focus their Water chakra into their dominant hand. This allows the user to create a whip of Water. This whip of Water can be used to bind the opponent, strike them, and also channel Lightning techniques through it to shock the constricted opponent.

Description: A perception ninjutsu, allowing one to freely manipulate rain infused with the user's own chakra after waving the Bird → Rat → Ox → Monkey → Rat → Snake hand seals. The rain falls from rain clouds, formed with the users own chakra. During this technique, the falling raindrops are closely linked to the users senses. When the rain is obstructed by a chakra belonging to someone the existence of the target can be detected. The rain will keep on falling until the user uses the seal to cancel it.

The user will form several hand seals, and focus their Water chakra into the clouds above. This allows the user to cause it to rain, and these rain drops are closely linked to their senses. Once this rain is obstructed by chakra, the user will know that someone is there where the obstruction happens. The rain falls as long as the user wants it, and to cancel it, a seal is formed.

Description: The user can freely transform his body into liquid. This form allows him to avoid taking direct damage from many physical attacks but can not attack while in this form.

The user will focus Water chakra through their body right before they are struck. This allows the user to transform their body into liquid, and avoid taking physical damage from the dodged strike. However, the user is not able to attack in this form and is in general, very vulnerable.

Description: After performing the Tiger handseal, the user creates an orb of water from which several sharp whips of water emerge. Those whips can then be directed towards one or multiple targets, impaling them on impact.

The user will form a single hand seal, and focus their Water chakra into the area in Short range of the user. This allows the user to form an orb of Water. From this orb of Water, several whips of Water will emerge from it, and can be directed towards the opponent and impale the opponent. These whips can also be used to hit projectiles out of the way.

Description: The user will manipulate their chakra and then blend in with a water source to be undetected by the enemy for a short period of time. However Sensory Ninja and Doujutsu users can find the enemy easily within the water source.

A technique usable once the user finds themselves within a Water source of some sort. The user will focus their Water chakra around themselves, allowing the user to blend in with the Water, making themselves hidden. However, this does not apply to Doujutsu and Sensors, as they can still see/sense the user.

Description: The user will first perform the Dog hand seal and release his chakra into the atmosphere which will then create an accumulation of large storm clouds in the sky, which in turn produces rain. The large amount of rain falling all around can then be turned into a large wave of water which sweeps the enemy off their feet while wrapping around him and binding him in the flow of water around him. While the targets are trapped in the water, their chakra will slowly be drained away. The water vortex can be sustained and controlled for up to two turns as long as the user keeps the dog hand seal made.

The user will form a single hand seal, and release their Water chakra into the atmosphere around themselves. This causes a large amount of storm clouds to accumulate, and produce rain. This rain can then be formed into a wave of water, which sweeps the opponent off their feet, and binds them with the water. Once the water makes contact with the opponent, the water will drain chakra from the opponent. This vortex of water can be sustained for up to two turns, if the hand seal is kept.

Description: Using his own chakra the user can, unbeknownst to his opponent, create a single or multiple water sources within the earth. The water sources can vary in size, depending on the need of the user. The user can create up to 3 separate sources but their size altogether may not exceed the size of a human sized pond. They don't form too deep in the ground, but about a meter or two beneath the surface. They can be used only as a source for other water techniques.

The user will focus their Water chakra into the ground below. This allows the user to form either a single or multiple water sources beneath the ground, varying in sizes. These sources can be used as a normal source of water, and also cannot exceed in size of a normal pond. They can only be formed around two meters beneath the surface.

A technique where the user and a clone, or ally, will combine techniques together. The user will form Rasengan in one hand, and the clone or ally will form Destruction Torrent in theirs. This is then blasted forward, unleashing a powerful tornado of Water, which douses Wind and Fire combinations.

(Takigakure-Ryū: Mizukiri no Yaiba) Hidden Waterfall Style: Water Slicing Blade

Description: A secret technique of Takigakure that allows the user to manipulate nearby water into the form of a sword, by compressing it to incredible amounts, making it seem solid and sharp, almost crystalline in nature. The sword is very resilient and extremely useful against Fire attacks or Fire enhanced weaponry. The sword, once formed, can be thrown as a projectile or wielded. If thrown, it will do menial damage (C-rank) but it can be wielded as any other sword and due to its incredible sharpness, can be quite dangerous. It can be used for melee based Kenjutsu attacks.

Note: While the sword is being sustained, the user can only mold Water Techniques.

The user will focus their Water chakra into a water source, in order to create a sword. However, this sword is made by compressing the water to such an amount, that is becomes crystalline. The sword is able to be used against Fire attacks, as well as be wielded like a normal sword. It is able to do up to C rank damage when used to strike the opponent, in the form of a projectile though it does normal 60 damage when used in a Kenjutsu form.
