Element Explanation
Fire Release most adequately refers to the style that utilizes techniques revolving around fire. The process for using this nature is through molding super-heated chakra within one's core to produce a variety of effects related to fire and heat. Typically, fire release makes use of fire's combustible and explosive attributes in the form of flaming projectiles or waves; however, there are quite a few versatile abilities one can use with this style. Fire can be used to augment the potency of a blade, for example, by heating enough in order to increase its ability to cut through solid objects. One could also make use of heat without flames in order to alter the density of the air and cause mirages/hallucinations, or tamper with the body's temperature to cause fatigue and sickness. The most common release points for techniques of this style are through the mouth.

Fire is a very violent nature and is very much "alive" in some senses. Fire breathes, in other words. It feeds off oxygen, which is the main reason it is advantageous to wind release. When combined, wind augments fire and increases its potency. In opposition, wind simply does not have the power (considering equal power) to adequately douse the flames of a general flame-producing fire technique. Fire release is also a fast element, though not as fast as natures like wind and lightning. However, it does have the capacity to keep up with both entities in most cases. It is for this reason that fire release is a good partner element for lightning release. Fire covers for lightning's weakness against wind and is also fast enough to keep up with the former's speed. As well, both fire and lightning natures are plasma like in nature, making their intangible attributes complimentary. Fire is weak to water due to water's lower energy and matter construction contrasting fire. Fire's high energy is easily taken away by water's low energy state. When combined, scolding hot steam can produce just as severe an outcome as fire could. In fact, the combination of fire and water generates the kekkei genkai Scorch.

There are four methods for basic Fire Release in this system; Projectiles, Streams/Waves, Alternative Release, and Specific.

Method 1: Basic Projectiles

This method focuses on generating projectiles through the use of one's fire nature combined with shape manipulation. These projectiles work in the same vein as shuriken and kunai in that their travel from point A to B is independent of the user or launching mechanism after their release. Projectiles follow the "Rule of Division" which simply states the strength of the jutsu = the sum of its parts. One projectile produced by a technique of A-ranked strength is going to be just as strong as 5 projectiles produced by another technique of A-ranked strength. However, that first projectile is stronger than any of the other 5 projectiles individually. The process for using techniques in this method is as follows:

  • Gather a fixed amount of your chakra into the point of release (generally the base of the lungs and exhaled through the mouth, these fire techniques can be released and used through other points like hands, feet, etc).
  • Condense it while manipulating it both in nature and shape, according to the desired effect.
  • Release it in the desired direction towards your target through the point of release.
In the case where you produce multiple fire projectiles you would follow these steps:

  • Gather a fixed amount of your chakra into the point of release.
  • Condense it using shape and nature manipulation.
  • Divide the chakra equally among the projectiles you are releasing.
  • Then release.
To further elaborate on the rule of division see the example below.

Description: User exhales a single or multiple projectiles of Fire to his enemy

The example technique's description states one or multiple (let's say up to 5). If we create the maximum of 5 projectiles are all those projectiles A-rank? No, the sum of their energy is A-rank. So what you do is, you divide the chakra and the sum of the five projectiles launched is A-rank. Therefore, this means you can take advantage and destroy individual projectiles ease if there are several produced by one technique. Say your opponent uses this technique and you do as well. If he launches 5 projectiles and you launch one, Your 1 = their 5 collective. You can destroy some of their projectiles and have it continue towards them. However in that case, they still have other projectiles coming towards you so it's like a double edged sword.

Advantages of Method

The primary advantage to techniques in this method is that most of the techniques don't require the user to continuously manipulate the technique after it has been released, thus allowing them to follow up with another technique. These are offensive techniques that provide the user with the ability to overwhelm their opponent and follow up with other techniques. Usually projectiles are mid to large sized thus they are harder to avoid in large clusters.

Disadvantages of Method

These techniques are quick, numerous and very high energy. Despite this the greatest drawback to these techniques are their weakness. In large numbers they are weak individually and can be easily overcome. Generally users of these technique try to keep the projectiles spread apart in order to attack from various angles to prevent an AoE technique from completely wiping them out. Nevertheless, most projectiles are A and S-rank and in numbers of 4 or 5 each is relatively the strength of B or C-ranks. Not only that, but these techniques are just like ordinary projectiles in the sense of their fixed trajectory. Few techniques in the basic method have the ability to change directions once released. Techniques that have one fixed path are very easy to avoid and counter.

Description: The user inhales and then exhales, shooting small balls of fire at the opponent.

A simple self explanatory technique, where the user will mold their Fire chakra and inhale. They will then exhale, and unleash small balls of fire towards the opponent. These travel towards the opponent, and become weaker the more ball of Fire released.

Description: The user will throw several shuriken infused with fire at the enemy and then, through a mental command, ignites them to cause extra damage.

A technique where the user will launch several shuriken towards the opponent, however these shuriken are infused with Fire chakra. Once they reach their intended location, through mental command, the user will ignite the shuriken causing more damage potentially. A simple technique, which has a good surprise factor, especially once the shuriken has already landed, and then only ignited.

Description: The user spews a small fireball.

Through molding their Fire chakra in the users' chest, and without the need for seals, the user will unleash from their mouth a small fireball. This travel towards the opponent in a linear path, making it easy to dodge, yet extremely useful in very close range due to the lack of hand seals.

Description: The user will release a small but powerful flame of fire at their opponent from either their limbs (through movement) or exhaling it. It can produce fire balls or fire streams or simply aid in taijutsu.

Through focusing their Fire chakra to their limbs, the user is able to release a small flame of Fire from them, through initiating bodily movements. This of course, enhances the users' Taijutsu prowess, or even deal that extra damage when utilizing free form Taijutsu. The user is also able to unleash Fire from their mouth in the form of a fire ball projectile which travels in a straight line, or streams of Fire which can also aid in Taijutsu.

Description: The user exhales a flame breath from their mouth after making the tiger hand seal. This technique can be used in conjunction with Earth Release: Earth Dragon Bullet to ignite the projectiles fired by the latter technique, making it more devastating.

A technique where the user will mold their Fire chakra in their chest and unleash flames from their mouth, after the formation of the Tiger hand seal. This can be used in conjunction with an Earth technique, to ignite projectiles of Mud, to make it a pseudo lava. However, it can also be used alone, for relatively useful projectiles of Fire.

Description: The user first performs six hand seals Rat → Tiger → Dog → Ox → Rabbit → Tiger and they create a volley of small fireballs, which are sent flying in an unpredictable manner assaulting the enemy. In addition, the flames are controlled one by one with chakra, so avoiding them all is extremely difficult. Shuriken can also be concealed within the flames, creating an unexpected secondary surprise attack. Like the flames, the shuriken can be controlled with chakra. For the most part, however, this technique is used as a distraction.

The user will form the needed hand seals and unleash a volley of small fireballs which converge upon the opponent in an unpredictable manner due to being under the control of the user, as well as being unleashed over an expansive range. Additionally, the user is able to conceal shuriken within the flames, for added damage. Using chakra, the user is also able to control the shuriken, making the technique more unpredictable and allowing the user a large amount of control over the technique.

A simple technique, where the user will mold their Fire chakra in their chest and release it. This allows the user to unleash a flame that burns on contact. The flame wraps around the opponent, and causes burns on all of the opponents' body.

Description: The user whilst in mid air will release from their mouth a series of small fire shots that rain down upon the target.

When in mid air, the user will mold their Fire chakra in their chest, and from their mouth, unleash several fire shots. These rain down upon the opponent, making escape difficult, as not only does the Fire serve as danger, but also the user coming down upon the opponent.

Description: The user creates a small ball of bright fire from their mouth that shoots at the opponent burning on impact.

A simple technique, where the user will mold their Fire chakra in their chest, and use their Fire chakra to unleash a small ball of Fire that is shot from their mouth. Upon impact, it causes burns on the opponent's body, or clothes, making it a good technique to initiate an incendiary reaction, especially when the opponent has been drenched in a flammable oil, or element of sorts.

Description: The user shoots multiple fire shots from their hands that are able to cause fiery explosions on impact with any object. The shots can't set the opponent on fire, though they can cause damage by exploding on him.

Through molding their Fire chakra, the user will manipulate it, and focus it to their hands. This allows the user to deliver multiple shots of Fire from their hands, aimed at hitting the opponent. Upon impact, the shots create explosions and although they don't set the opponent on fire, they cause damage from the explosion.

A stronger more potent version of the great Fire ball technique, carrying more chakra and strength than the initial technique. This allows the user to deliver a more dangerous and stronger, Fireball technique.

Description: The user after performing two hand seals Horse → Tiger exhales a big-sized sphere of fire that carries the enemy away and causes a massive explosion on impact. The fire ball has a given solidity property to it, being able to punch through solid obstacles without exploding.

After the formation of two hand seals, the user will unleash from their mouth, a large sphere of Fire. This ball of fire has a solid aspect to it, and as such, carries a form of force with it. This is able to carry the opponent away, and explode upon impact. It is also capable of smashing through solid obstacles, without exploding.

Description: The user jumps in the air and shoots three giant bullets of fire that come down like giant meteors, then erupt into a geyser of flame.

A technique where the user will focus his Fire chakra and jump into the air, and unleash from their mouth three large bullets of Fire. These are reminiscent of meteors, and travel towards the opponent. Once they get close, they will erupt into geysers of flame upon impact.

Description: The user fires several large dragon-shaped fireballs at their opponent after performing one handseal. It is able to alter localized weather conditions to the point of making thunder clouds when shot into the air, enabling the user to perform Kirin.

The user will focus their Fire chakra, and is able to unleash large dragon shaped fireballs from their mouth at the opponent after the formation of a single hand seal. Due to the distance it can travel, these fireballs are ideal for causing the weather conditions suitable for Kirin.

Description: The user unleashes a volley of shuriken with one hand, while at the same time exhaling fire-infused chakra onto them in order to increase the weapons' destructive potential by making them capable of inflicting severe burns upon direct contact with either the intended victim or any other object caught within their trajectories. Due to the chakra-based nature of the flames that surround them, the shuriken will continue to burn after impact, regardless of the flammability of the object that they ultimately collide with.

The user will unleash a volley of Shuriken with one hand. Through molding their Fire chakra in their chest, and unleashing it from their mouth, the user will exhale Fire onto the launched shuriken. This allows the shuriken to not only cause cutting damage but also burning damage, so in general, the entire technique enhances the lethal potential of a normal Shuriken, and also use it as a conduit to light something ablaze.

Description: After performing the Tiger hand seal the user will manipulate their chakra releasing it into the atmosphere around him to create several ghost-like flames resembling heads with horns and yellow eyes that then attack the target/s in a swarm.

The user will form the Tiger hand seal and manipulate their Fire based chakra by focusing it into the atmosphere around them. This allows the user to manifest and form into the atmosphere around them, and use shape manipulation to form several ghost like flames, with horns and yellows eyes. These ghosts of flame, will now aim to swarm the opponent. This makes it extremely useful, allowing the user to combine it with another technique, seamlessly.

Description: The user will manipulate their chakra into their chest and then they will release from their mouth a quick burst of flame towards their opponents feet which then errupts into a large pillar of flame reaching 3 meters tall and inflicting damage to the target.

The user will manipulate their Fire chakra in their chest, to unleash from their mouth a quick flame which travels along the ground. This blasts towards the users' feet, and erupts into a large pillar of flame through shape manipulation, that reaches three meters height and blasts the opponent within its fiery embrace.

ISSA KAKUZU TECH, where Kakuzu will release one of his masks, specialized in Fire. This mask is able to unleash a torrent of small but dense and fast fireballs, which explode on impact with the opponent, or desired target.

Description: The user will attack the opponent with a series of slashes with their sword and then finish up with jumping into the air above the target and releasing a powerful fireball down upon them.
Note: Requires a Sword.

With a sword in hand, the user will deliver several slashes to the opponent. The user will finish it up by jumping into the air once the opponent has been staggered. The user will mold their Fire chakra in their chest, and unleash from their mouth a powerful fireball onto them at point blank range.

(Katon: Reza-Ken) - Fire Release: Razor Blade

Description: The user will raise one hand into the air with an open palm whilst they knead a fair quantity of chakra into it. Then, the wielder will manipulate the chakra into a blazing hot circular blade that spins in the air just above the wielders palm. It can be thrown at the enemy with great speed and accuracy.

The user will initiate the technique by raising a single hand, open palm, into the air. The user will then knead their Fire chakra, and use shape manipulation and manipulate their Fire chakra into a hot circular blade that spins right above the users' palm. This can be launched towards the opponent with ease, acting like a shuriken or blade of condensed Fire with cutting and burning damage upon impact.

Description: The user after performing the required hand seals Rat → Dog → Tiger fires a small fireball that erupts into a giant fire-storm after making contact with a surface, causing widespread destruction to the area. Since the flames travel along the ground, and cover such a wide area this is a difficult technique to evade. When combined with Wind Release: Pressure Damage, this technique is amplified to the point of being able to evaporate a large amount of water in an instant

After forming the necessary hand seals and molding their Fire chakra, the user will unleash a small fire ball that erupts into a larger firestorm upon contact with the surface. This covers a wide area, making it difficult to evade, and can be amplified by a Wind technique to evaporate large amounts of Water in a short amount of time.

Description: The user will manipulate their chakra and breath out from their mouth a large fireball that travels at the opponent. As it reaches the opponent it bursts into a maelstrom of fire engulfing them in flames.

The user will manipulate their Fire chakra in their chest, and uses it to unleash a Fireball from their mouth. This fireball travels towards the opponent in a linear fashion, and bursts into a maelstrom once it gets closer, covering a larger range.

Description: The user will first ignites a flame of fire across the ground infront of them and then they will enhance that fire with a gust of wind to extend the range of the fire

A technique where the user will focus their Fire chakra in their chest, and will ignite the ground before him through unleashing Fire from his mouth. Through the use of a Wind technique, the user is able to enhance that Fire technique, extending its range, allowing it to reach the opponent.

Description: After performing the hand seal Tiger the user compresses a large amount of chakra built up inside their body, before instead expelling it in the form of a number of dragon head-shaped fireballs. The user then skilfully manipulates that great fire, and attacks their opponent. The temperature of the created flames is so great that, even with the briefest of contact, they are capable of easily burning human flesh and the fireballs are dense enough to behave almost as solid, being able to deliver impact damage in adition to the fire damage. However, this also means that they can be deflected as a solid projectiles.

After the formation of the Tiger hand seal, the user will compress their Fire chakra in their chest and expel it in the form of several dragon headed shaped fire balls, which are greatly manipulated. The fire also carries a dense solidity to it, allowing it to deliver blunt damage as well as burning damage upon contact. However, this makes it possible to deflect the projectile like a solid one is deflected.

Kneading his chakra and then converting it to fire, the user will do the Horse → Tiger → Snake → Ram hand seals as he inhales, exhaling into the sky a multitude of great fireballs (up to 8) at the same time which then rain down on the target from above causing severe, widespread damage around the field. These fireballs have explosive and concussive abilities, similar to other fire techniques.

A largely powerful technique, where the user will form several hand seals and inhale, whilst molding a large amount of Fire chakra in their chest. They will then exhale, and unleash up to 8 balls of Fire which rain down upon the opponent, causing explosive and concussive damage upon impact. However, can only be used by Primary Fire Specialists.

(Katon: Bakuryūgeki) - Fire Release: Exploding Dragon Strike

Description: The user through use of one their scrolls will summon a large flame dragon that is directed towards the enemy target and explodes upon impact.

Through the utilization of a scroll, the user will focus their Fire chakra into it. This allows the user to bring forth a large dragon of Fire that is directed towards the opponent, and explodes upon impact.

(Katon Kuchiyose no Jutsu: Hitora Bakufu) - Fire Release Summoning Technique: Fire Tiger Explosion

Description: The user summons a tiger made of flames from a scroll, directing it towards the target, and attaching itself onto the target and explode causing massive damage on detonation making it similar to a paper bomb.

A technique where the user will summon forth a Tiger made of Fire, from the scroll. This can be directed towards the opponent, where it attaches itself to the opponent and explodes, making it quite deadly as well as extremely useful.

(Katon: Fuuton Ken Katon Bakufuu no Jutsu) Fire Release: Wind and Fire Blast Technique

Description: The user after combining Fire Release: Intense pain and Wind Release: Pressure Damage at the same time. This creates a blast that is so intense that a standard water technique (ex : Water Release: Water Encampment Wall) can only at most soften of the impact. It was successsfully stopped by Yamato and Naruto's Typhoon water vortex.
Note: Can only be used either with a clone or with an ally

A technique that requires a clone or ally. The user will unleash a powerful blast of Fire, which is combined with Wind, to create an overall more powerful blast than ordinary and can cover a large distance.


Method 2: Streams/Waves

This method consists of techniques that generate large waves and streams of fire, similar in nature to flamethrowers. Unlike projectiles, these techniques are fueled by a constant stream of chakra exiting from the user's body toward their target. Not all techniques in this method fit the flamethrower analogy, however, all of them necessitate a constant fueling of chakra. For the flamethrower like techniques, there exists the ability to control the direction of the flames unlike with projectiles which are static in their trajectory. Not only is the direction dynamic, but the area of effect for these techniques are usually much larger than projectiles. There are fewer gaps and the techniques maintain their full strength throughout the technique rather than being divided. Even for non-flamethrower like techniques the large flames generated contain the full strength of the technique.

When using basic constant streams typically the process would be:
  • Gather the amount of chakra needed for the technique
  • channel it up to the point of release
  • Release in a constant stream of flames until the chakra runs out/end of tech
Depending on the type of stream, you may need to place in there
  • Confine the flames to a certain width
  • use shape manipulation to alter the shape or direction of the flame's travel accordingly.
Advantages of Method

With constant flames, you have a set level of power coursing throughout your entire technique, as opposed to projectiles where you may end up releasing several projectiles with limited strength. You also have a larger range (width wise usually) of fire with these techniques for the most part. The AoE of these techniques are usually wider and longer than projectiles with fewer gaps (if any). These techniques are also dynamic in the sense of their direction and movement. Movement is usually contingent on wherever the user is facing as most of these techniques are released from the mouth.

Disadvantages of Method

This method lacks the independence that the previous one has. Projectiles, once released, free the user up to attack, defend, counter their opponent; this method's techniques have no such advantage. The technique remains for as long as the user fuels it with chakra and as long as the user fuels the technique the user cannot perform another. This generates and opening for opponents to take advantage to attack on flanks the user cannot defend against while using one of these techniques. While these techniques have a more dynamic maneuverability, they are not all reaching and often enough not always powerful enough to save the user.

Description: The user will create a small short flame at the opponent. This flame is capable of making the target collapse due to the heat of the technique. This technique requires no handseals.

The user will mold his Fire chakra, and focus it into his chest. The user will then release a small short flame towards the opponent, from his mouth. This flame stream is hot enough to cause the opponent to collapse, and of course, cause burning damage upon impact. Due to its lack of hand seals, it makes it good for using in close range.

Description: After performing the Tiger hand seal by utilizing their fire chakra, the user will create a stream of fire that can be manipulated into several forms (rings of fire that runs on the ground or a circle of fire flying through the air) before striking the target. It can also be used in combination with Wind Release: Divine Wind to create a tornado of flames, or with Wind Release: Godly Wind from the Mountains to release a massive inferno. The stream of fire can be created by stomping the ground (running across the ground in this case) or by spewing the flames (which will form an airborne ring of flames that will travel towards the enemy).

After the formation of the Tiger hand seal, the user will manipulate their Fire based chakra to create a stream of Fire. This can be manipulated into alternative forms like a ring of Fire that runs on the ground, or a circle of Fire that flies through the air. This technique can be used in a combination with others, and is initiated through either stomping the ground or spewing the flames, respectively.

Description: The user first performs seven handseals Ram → Horse → Snake → Dragon → Rat → Ox → Tiger and kneads chakra into flames, which are then manipulated and exhaled as a thin yet incredibly fast jet of flames that spread across the ground as it runs towards the enemy. Its temperature is such that it easily melts the ground as it travels and can reduce an enemy to ash.

The user will perform the intended hand seals and focus their Fire based chakra in their chest. The user will then unleash a thin jet of flames from their mouth. This is spread across the ground, melting the ground as it travels towards the opponent. Through moving their head, the user is able to control the trajectory of the Fire and the way it travels.

Description: The user manipulates their fire chakra and doing the tiger hand seal, shoots an intense fire stream at the opponents feet which then lifts them into the air in the eruption of a column of intense flames. Sasori can replicate this technique through the usage of his fire launcher.

After forming the Tiger hand seal, the user is able to manipulate their Fire chakra and unleash an intense stream of Fire from their mouth. This is aimed at the opponent's feet, which then lifts the opponent into the air as the user uses shape manipulation to cause the Fire to rise into a column of intense flames. This blasts the opponent into the air.

After having two clones on the field, the user and his clones will form the necessary hand seals, and focus their Fire based chakra. After doing so, the user and his clones, are able to release a long intense flame from their mouths, which form into a large flaming dragon, which travels towards the opponent.

Description: The user does one handseal and inhales while molding a great amount of chakra into their lungs and expelling a large stream of flames from their mouth. The user has control over the concentration of the technique, being able to produce a narrow jet of flames, highly concentrated or one that will widen along its range. The flames are hot enough to quickly evaporate large quantities of water within a relatively short amount of time.

The user will form a single hand seal, and mold Fire chakra into their lungs. They will then unleash a large stream of Fire from their mouth, and the user has control over the width of the stream, able to make it a thin stream of Fire and also widen it. The flames are extremely hot, and are capable of inflicting quite some damage.

Description: A technique where the user makes the horse hand seal and then kneads chakra inside his body which is then converted into fire and expelled from the mouth as a massive wall of intense flames, which covers an expansive range in both vertical and horizontal dimensions, making it extremely difficult to avoid. However, due to its massive width and height, the technique is not one of the fastest seen so far.

The user will form the Horse hand seal, and knead a large amount of Fire chakra in their body. The user will then expel from their mouth, large amounts of Fire in the form of a massive wall of intense flames. This covers a large area, both in vertical and horizontal dimensions. This makes it difficult to avoid, but also makes it slower, despite it now covering a larger range and being able to take on most big techniques.

Description: A technique where chakra kneaded inside the body is converted into fire, and then expelled from the mouth in a massive stream of intense flames, after doing the Rat → Ox → Dog → Horse → Monkey → Boar → Tiger hand seals. The technique has an enourmous range and can cover a huge area. When it was used by Madara Uchiha, the massive scale of the technique was such that, in comparisson, his incomplete Susanoo seemed small. The main advantage of the technique is that it can be used to burn large areas in an effect in everything similar to a flamethrower.

After forming the intended hand seals, the user will knead their Fire chakra in their chest. The user will then unleash a massive stream of intense flames from their mouth, which covers a large area before them, however, is slower in comparison to smaller techniques. In comparison, the Incomplete Susanoo seemed small against it.


Method 3: Alternative Fire Release

This method encompasses techniques that fall within the category of Katon, yet do not necessarily produce Fire. The substances that are created using techniques within this method are generally flammable mists or thick clouds of ash that are highly combustible. However there can be techniques that do utilize fire with another medium to create an even greater source of fire, i.e lava, which allows for the technique to be considered an alternative method of release. As far as chakra goes for build up of techniques within this method, one would gather their chakra as they normally would for katon, however rather than produce fire, they generate some entity that exists between fire and another. Based on how the technique is (if it's wide spread like a stream or something else) they would release the chakra manifested into that entity.

Advantages of Method

A big advantage is that this method provides versatility to the element, allowing for users to use more than one way to release fire. Generally, the techniques in this method are fire augmenting ones that allow for one to add flames in order to produce a grander technique.

Disadvantages of Method

Arguably, one could use the element Katon possesses a natural advantage over (Wind) to avoid techniques involving mist or clouds of ash. Though still Katon, these entities do not actually possess fire from the beginning, thus the result in it of itself isn't in fact Fire that can be augmented by wind techniques. Mist or ash clouds can be blown away or forced to stay on another path. This is a more specific way of saying that the altered composition of techniques may generate weaknesses that were previously non-existent.

Description: After performing the necessary hand seals Snake → Ram → Monkey → Tiger, the user is able to create and blow a flammable gas from their lungs. Once it comes in contact with fire or sparks, the gas ignites into a large fireball.

After the formation of the necessary hand seals, the user will mold his Fire based chakra. The user will unleash a flammable gas from their mouth. This gas can easily be ignited with other Fire, or sparks, and then ignites into a large fireball, damaging any caught within it.

Description: The user spews superheated ash from their mouth after performing four handseals. The ash is hot enough to cause third-degree burns on the victim. Because it's composed entirely of ash, it stays in the air around the victim like a cloud. If the user clicks his teeth, the stagnant ash will ignite, creating a violent explosion.

After the formation of four hand seals, the user will manipulate their Fire based chakra to spew out super-heated ash from their mouth. This ash causes third degree burns and stays around the opponent. Once the user clicks their teeth, the ash will ignite. However, any time of spark or Fire will ignite it, causing a violent explosion for anyone caught within it.

( Katon: Haijingakure no Jutsu ) - Fire Release: Hiding in Ash and Dust Technique

Description: The user expels chakra-infused ash that blankets a wide area, burning anyone who comes in contact with it. The technique can also be used as a powerful deterrent from attacks as well as a highly effective smokescreen.

The user will manipulate their Fire based chakra and focus it in their chest, in order to expel ash from their mouth. This covers a large area before the user, burning those within it, and also acts as a smokescreen which basically creates a way for the user to both escape, and attack the opponent at the same time.


Method 4: Specifics

These techniques are specific in nature and do not possess anything directly in common with one another except the fact that they all have no direct relation to each other. Theses are specific techniques that may encompass one or more of the properties described in previous methods but do not quite fit/follow the general rules

Advantages of Method

You have a variety of unique techniques with differing qualities at your disposal. The rest is all technique based and would require an analysis of each technique.

Disadvantages of Method

All varies on the specific technique.

Description: The user first throws out a lighter that has an open flame.The user the turns the flame into a wall of fire used for protection or to burn small objects thrown towards him. This jutsu can be used with Hurricane Fist to create a combo jutsu.

The user will utilize a lighter that has an open flame. Once thrown, the user will focus their Fire chakra and causes the lighter bursts into a wall of Fire which can be used for defensive purposes, to create a wall or to burn objects on them. It can also be combined with Wind based techniques to make it more deadly.

Description: Using this technique, a user can hide themselves inside a flame. Upon leaving concealment, flames burn, revealing the user. The user can only hide in fire he has created and up to B rank.

A technique where the user is able to use their Fire chakra in order to hide themselves within an existent flame of their own creation. However, this can only be used on up to B rank flames, and below.

Description: The user will perform four handseals Snake → Dragon → Rabbit → Tiger , and breathe fire along a cord or any other type of long object, which rushes forward in straight line catching the enemy on fire. A line of enemies can be used as the conductor as well. The flames are meant to target, and assault the enemy's upper body just like a projectile weapon.

After the formation of the hand seals, and having already caught the opponent in some form of rope or cord, the user will focus their Fire chakra in their chest. The user will then release it and breathe fire along said cord. This allows it to act as a way for the user to both burn the opponent, and constrict them at the same time.

(Katon/Fūton: Moeru Yōna Pengin no Bāningu Ha) Fire/Wind Style: Burning Leaves of the Flaming Penguin

Description: If the user is in a forest, they can begin to start gathering katon chakra. Once that is done, they insert that chakra into leaves around the opponent. With those leaves now beginning to burn and smoke, the user flashes the bird hand seal and begins to cause a gust to occur by the opponent. This gust would not only blow the leaves off the trees towards and around the opponent, but the wind would also increase the fire's heat and move the smoke from the leaves around. This would cause the opponent major annoyances and small burns if the leaves around him touch their skin.

Only usable in a forest terrain, the user will gather their Fire based chakra and insert it into leaves, causing them to burn slowly. The user will then form another hand seal, causing of wind to blow the leaves towards the opponent, whilst increasing the intensity of the heat on the leaves, causing them to inflict small burns onto the opponent.

After the formation of four hand seals, the user will manipulate their Fire chakra and cause Fire to erupt all around them. It is then launched towards the opponent in a spiraling manner, or it simply expands outwards completely into the surrounding area, in a tornado of flames which aims to burn the opponent close enough.

After the formation of five hand seals, the user will focus his Fire chakra into his chest and then spew out Fire that surrounds the opponent. From this fire, the user will use shape manipulation to form a spider made of flames, which attacks the opponent. This both traps and attacks the opponent.

After kneading their Fire chakra, the user focuses it into their forearm. Through a swinging motion, the user is able to release it and create a line of Fire before them, that acts as a defensive wall against smaller objects and people in close range as well.

A technique which can only be used in conjunction with Lightning Release: Sixteen Pillar Bind. The user will form the needed hand seals, and focus their Fire based chakra. This allows the user to unleash flames into the giant oven created with the aforementioned technique, burning the opponent within it.

Description: The user will knead their fire chakra and release it into the ground by stomping down their leg and then causing three pillars of fire several meters tall spaced out evenly. The Pillars of fire can act as a defensive wall against incoming techniques or targets or used to attack low aerial targets.

After kneading their Fire chakra, the user will release it into the ground through a stomp motion. This causes three pillars of Fire to emerge from underground, spaced out evenly. This can be used as a defensive wall, and also to attack opponent which may be in the air, close enough to the ground. This technique is indicated through the heating of the ground from beneath the opponent, allowing them ample time to react before it emerges.

Description: The user first stomps on the ground, using his fire chakra and making an underground tunnel from between themselves and the opponent. They then breathe out fire into the tunnel, causing the fire carry rock and other debris with it as it travels, melting them. With a single hand seal, the molten rock debris will erupt from the ground underneath the opponent, engulfing them and burning them alive.

The user will stomp their foot onto the ground, focusing Fire chakra into the ground and creating an underground tunnel between themselves and the opponent. Fire is breathed into the tunnel, melting rocks and debris, which is forced up towards the opponent with a single hand seal. The melted debris escapes, now in a pseudo lava form, and burns the opponent. The ground heats up before its expelled.

(Katon: Juzutsunagi) - Fire Release: Beaded Mesh

Description: The user launches condensed fire chakra in the form of a tangible blood-red colored net, generated from a weapon's length or body part (hand or foot), and simply throws it over the intended target(s) with a simple slashing motion from the weapon or waving motion from the body part. The net further binds and restricts opponents' movements by constricting to their form. This net appears elongated and somewhat narrow and can vary in size depending on what the user sees fit (cannot imprison something larger than half the size of Gamabunta). After throwing the net, the user can stab the net with the tip of their weapon by, for example, throwing the weapon towards the net or alternatively perform the tiger hand seal. Doing so will create orbs of fire on the constricted parts of the net that soon after erupt into a large and devastating explosion.

The user will launched condensed Fire in the form of a net, from either a weapon or their hand or foot, over the intended target. This is initiated with a slashing motion from the weapon, or a waving motion from the limb. The net constricts the opponents' movements, and can vary in size based on what is to be trapped. Once done, the user will stab the net, or form a single hand seal, created orbs of Fire on the net, creating a massive explosion along it.
