Detail? You know me. 
Dark Release is a rare and advanced bloodline limit possessed by Kirigakure ninjas. It isn't your normal advanced combination of elemental releases like Storm, Boil, Scorch, etc. It is basically used to absorb the energy or chakra from the opponent's technique, manipulate the said chakra and release it in the form of raw chakra, albeit much stronger and denser than raw chakra. Those who possess this bloodline limit have two marks on their hands, resembling squares one below the other. The upper square is used to absorb chakra and store it in an entirely different plane in the user's body, i.e. this doesn't mix with the user's chakra network. The advantages of this is that even potentially dangerous chakra like Sennin chakra can be absorbed and stored. It can be said that these marks act like portals. The absorbed chakra is then manipulated and released in the form of raw energy blasts from the lower mark. Only raw energy can be released since the user has little control over the absorbed chakra, as it is stored in an entirely different plane, i.e. if a Fire Release technique is absorbed, then the user cannot manipulate the absorbed Fire chakra to convert it into a specific elemental one, rather it can only be released as a raw and dense chakra blast as mentioned before. It can be said that this is a psuedo-Fuuinjutsu, since it almost operates on the same principle of "storing" chakra.
Dark Release is a very interesting Kekkai Genkai. It isn't your usual run-off-the-mill "advanced fire" or "advanced lightning" etc. A normal advanced release would obviously have some trouble over Sennin chakra and Bijuu chakra. However, this can simply absorb chakra, manipulate it and release it. Even if the user is in a tight spot when a high level technique is used, he can simply do the above and put the opponent in danger instead, obviously following the elemental weaknesses and strengths. My bio, Portgas Ace would have Rain element if I pass the test, and I'd like to believe that this KG would be an excellent combo with Rain. The CJ combos are endless. That is why I'd like to learn Dark Release.
Although, canonically not known, in our RP, Fire and Lightning elements entail Dark Release.
Weakness and strengths are divided into two parts:
Absorption :
Strong to: Raw chakra, Fire, Lightning, Wind, Storm, Scorch, Sennin chakra. The basis of Dark Release's absorption is it's magnificence of absorbing raw energy and elements which have a low density. Raw chakra specifically, since C-Rank Dark can absorb A-Rank of raw chakra.
Weak to: Water and Earth. Earth is a very solid state of matter, and Water has a great amount of tangibility and Suiton jutsus are basically matter based techniques. That is why it is hard to absorb such highly dense elements. This is primarily why, S-Rank Dark is required to absorb B-Rank Earth.
Release:
Strong to: Wind and Fire. They are the least dense elements out of the basic 5 and they don't have the strength to overcome the raw energy blasts released by Dark Release. Elemental chakra> Raw chakra, but Dark chakra is much more denser than raw chakra, overpowering Wind and Fire. Similarly, Snow, Rain, etc have a low tangibility, that is they aren't exactly perceptible by touch.
Weak to: Earth and Water. Earth and Water have the solid power and tangibility to actually overpower raw energy blasts released by the lower mark. Higher solid forms like Steel, Wood, etc have a great strength to raw energy blasts, obviously because they're more tangible and solid.
Hiruko is the only canon user to be shown using Dark Release. However, he stole it from another ninja using his Chimera technique, meaning that specific ninja's clan may have also possessed this release.

Meiton is a KG in which the user acts almost as an Organic Fuuinjutsu of sorts, absorbing and releasing physical and spiritual energies (chakra). Because it works, in a sense, like a Fuuinjutsu, the absorbed chakra doesn't actually enter the users Chakra Circulatory System (like what happens with the Rinnegan's absorption abilities) but its kept in the KG mark, as if stored in a separate space within the body. One can say the squares (upper and lower) are much like portals to the sealing space but the sealing space has no connection with the user's chakra. Because of this, the user has little control over the form he can release said chakra. As he releases it, it manifests in a raw energy form rather than a specific elemental one.

Dark Release is strong towards energy based elements because energy absorption is the core ability of dark release. Not only that but Energy is easier to absorb and manipulate than matter. Another thing, Dark is able to absorb things like; Storm, Dust, Scorch and even raw Sage Jutsu.
But when release your opponents technique, if your opponent blocks using any of the following; The four obvious ones; Fire, Wind and Raw chakra along side these more uncommon ones; Sand, Rain, Steam or Boil you will have the upper hand, since dark just eats right though energy based chakra.
While Dark isn't strong against Water and Earth since they are both matter elements and, lets be real you can't absorb something that is matter, just doesn't work like that. Earth suffers double strength towards the absorbing ability of Dark Release (meaning that only an S-Rank Dark release can absorb a B-Rank Earth technique)
And again when release your opponents technique. If your opponent blocks using any of the following; The two obvious ones Earth and Water as well as; Solid Ice, Steel, Wood or Lava. They will overpower your dark as they are matter based.
Dark has been slightly nerfed, lighting can be absorbed, but when pitted against lighting. They will cancel one another out. Obviously have to be the same rank.
The reason I like dark release, it gives you the chance to absorb your opponent attack and redirect it stronger.

Yes it can, it can absorb any raw form of energy, even if it was Dark Release energy, when Dark Release absorbs something then releases it, it releases it in the form of enhanced raw energy, other techniques are the same thing as well, ofcourse all following the appropriate ranks.

Try and gather up your lighting chakra in one hand, and your fire chakra in the other hand. Then try and merge the two into dark chakra, it sounds easy enough. But it is not.

I knead a good amount of chakra in my body and convert it into the properties of Lightning, as I feel my chakra "vibrating". I then channel this chakra into my left hand and maintain it's steady flow. At the same time, I knead chakra once more, this time, converting it into the properties of Fire, channeling this chakra into my other hand. I then focus upon these both new natured chakras, trying to maintain them. At first, I lose focus, but after several tries, I successfully maintain the flow of both the chakras. I then, "combine" these two chakra natures with great concentration, as I feel a new chakra nature forming, It's feeling is something I can't describe.
No template, no nothing. You just have to perform it. How does that sound? Good, I thought so to!

After hearing your words, I take a defensive stance and pull out my right hand. I watch you, as you release a large fireball towards me. Maintaining my focus, I point out my hand slightly towards the direction of the said fireball, and let it come toward me. A little sweat pours down my face, as I try to not lose focus and get hit by it. Finally, after the fireball reaches short range of me, I use the upper diamond mark to absorb the fireball's chakra; in short, I absorb it's physical and spiritual energies, as the absorbed Fire chakra is sent into a different plane in my body.

As I successfully absorb the Fire technique, I gain a little confidence, as I hear what you say once more. After you release a simple gust of wind, C Ranked, I let it come towards me once more and point out my hand outwards once more, using my Dark chakra to absorb the physical and spiritual energies of the Wind jutsu, as it gets "sucked" in into the upper diamond. Now, I direct the absorbed chakra towards the lower diamond mark. As it rushes through, I focus upon it, and spatially recompose it, as the result is the released Dark chakra in the form of waves, which reaches up to mid-range.
Once more, I follow the same instructions, using the upper diamond to absorb another wind jutsu you send at me, which is, this time, in the form of a blast. I let the blast of wind reach me, as it pushes me back a little, however, before it completely attacks me, I absorb the physical and spiritual energies out of the wind blast, sucking it in once more into a different portal. Like the previous technique, I direct this absorbed chakra to the lower diamond mark and spatially recompose it once more, this time releasing large waves of Dark chakra that reach long range and further.
Question: Shouldn't the range be short-long? Or does the user absorb the tech from long range itself and direct it back as a technique that reaches long range?

Yeah it should be short - long. Cause you can't absorb a technique from long range. Inhaling Maw doesn't work like that.

Watching it's trajectory closely, I point out my right fist, as the upper diamond on my hand absorbs the projectile's physical and spiritual energies. However, I use this absorbed chakra to channel it to both of my hands instead of only one of them. I then spatially recompose the absorbed chakra to release it outwards in the form of a raw shockwave blast, as it reaches outwards upto a very long range, hitting your clone who's in short range from and damaging his body badly.
Question: I thought we could only release the absorbed chakra from the lower diamond. Isn't that why the mark is for? :/

Description: By activating the absorption mark in one of his hands and touching an enemy, the user is able to absorb up to 40 chakra points on contact. This chakra can then be used to fuel release-type Dark Release techniques.
Okay so this is one of the new canon techniques that was released a couple weeks back, so I'm not to familiar with it.
So; pretty much get into touching distance of my clone, place your hand on him [hand that has the two diamond marks on it] doing that should allow you to absorb up to 40 points of chakra while remaining touching him. This chakra absorbed can be used as a medium towards other dark release techniques like Judgement.

Okay so this is one of the new canon techniques that was released a couple weeks back, so I'm not to familiar with it.
So; pretty much get into touching distance of my clone, place your hand on him [hand that has the two diamond marks on it] doing that should allow you to absorb up to 40 points of chakra while remaining touching him. This chakra absorbed can be used as a medium towards other dark release techniques like Judgement.

I dash towards your clone and throw a smoke bomb. Using the diversion, I get behind him and activate the absorption mark, i.e. the upper diamond on my right hand and outstretch it, touching your clone's back. As my hand makes contact with it, 40 points of chakra is absorbed from his body into the upper mark. Once this is absorbed, I re-direct it, channeling this chakra into my lower mark while manipulating it to form a blast of chakra which rushes through the lower mark and hits him, throwing him off a far distance.

After weaving some handseals, I emit a bright light from my body. This light is blinding enough to momentarily hinder your clone's vision. As this happens, I weave a single handseal, and trap your clone under a genjutsu, wherein there's a world of infinite darkness; this hinders his sight, but not his other senses. As he's busy figuring out the genjutsu and releasing it, I dash toward your clone and reach close to him, extending my right hand and touching his back with it, and as his back makes contact, his chakra is absorbed into the upper diamond mark and stored thereby, hence draining him of 40 chakra points.

Description: After performing the following handseals Ram → Horse → Snake → Tiger the user will release a massive amount of lighting chakra which he uses to create a blinding light that appears to emanate from all over the users body. The light can blind any enemy that sees it but its main ability is that, through skill and precise chakra control and timing, the user can use it as a cover to put the enemy into a genjutsu by using the light as a decoy, preventing the enemy from noticing the genjutsu was placed.
Note: Can follow with any Genjutsu the user knows up to A-Rank but needs to have mastered Genjutsu. The user will need to effectively spend two moves, performing both the Lightning Illusion and the Genjutsu; the first only serves as a cover to place the second unnoticed

( Kokuangyo no Jutsu ) - Bringer-of-Darkness Technique

So use inhaling maw to absorb a technique, then from that I want you to convert the chakra that your absorbed though your upper diamond into dark chakra and you will release though your bottom diamond the converted chakra should come out as blue flames that amplified, I want you to send the flames towards my clone who is at mid-range.
