Mei has 3 elementals and 2 Kekkei genkais. She is almost the equivalent of Kakuzu and all his masks. The entire Team Asuma as a whole have one elemental. They are completely reliant on Shikamaru capturing their opponent, however, Mei can spam her techniques even while caught. She will boil release, raise acidity, then let the leaf shinobi burn

Mei should win this with mid-high difficulty.
Also Shikamaru is getting pretty overrated. Lol at him making a strategy, what does he do in acid mist? Asuma and Choji are the only two who can put up a fight but Mei would destroy Asuma and Choji IMO. Sure Ino can serve as a distraction but she'd get owned by Mei pretty easily. None of them can stand up to boil and lava release. Her water jutsus are also going to be very painful for Team Asuma to deal with. Sure Choji gets very powerful but he is a huge target for elemental attacks which Mei has.
