Hoping to see a debate going on between TheEvilOne and Nattana on one side and Kidgamer65 on the other.

Location: Roof top and barrier where Hiruzen fought Orochimaru
Starting distance: 15 m
Knowledge: Full
Conditions: This is old Hiruzen, not fanfictional prime Hiruzen. Hiruzen does not have infinite chakra since he is no edo which also means no regeneration. He does get all ninjutsu he's used as an edo though.
Restrictions: Feats only so neither Hiruzen or Mei get any ninjutsu they haven't shown even if it is logical they have it.

I am going to say Mei med-high diff.

Acidic mist will fill up the entire space and will kill Hiruzen. While Hiruzen does have wind stream he would just be blowing the acidic mist around everywhere.

Mei takes this low-mid diff, in my opinion. How does Hiruzen even hurt her when Acid Mist goes up? He's most likely going to be in too much pain to even form seals.

Hiruzen might win.

Acidic Mist is a problem, but it'll still take time to actually fill up the area since the barrier's enclosed space isn't that small, and Hiruzen's Ninjutsu cover the vast majority of the confined space . 1 Clone can use Fuuton to push mist away from Hiruzen's location while the original uses his large Ninjutsu to corner and kill Mei. Her Suiton all get countered by Hiruzen's Doton, her Lava is easily evaded or blocked with Enma's Cage Form.

If she uses Hidden Mist, Katon would evaporate it, considering Mist is simply water droplets stuck in the air.

Only problem being that with a distance of a mere 15 meters, and especially considering Mei's mist is able to spread at means that it doesn't need to fill up the entire space to harm Hiruzen; it just needs to hit him first. As said, I don't see him forming seals while the mist is harming him, so even before he gets the opportunity to form Kage Bunshin Mei begins with her mist and follows up with a Yōton.

If this was a no knowledge fight, how would it go? I'd assume it would be an even bigger advantage for Mei.
I think Hiruzen can still use common sense that shes from the Water village. And adapt to how to fight someone from the Water village.

For KG65 post, it all comes down timing argument. Who ever moves draws first determines the winner.

Essentially this, yes. If Mei brings up her mist first she wins, if Hiruzen goes on the offensive first Mei can't react to his style. He wins.
