Her water dragons are massive enough to knock Konan down and then her lava release will not only burn Konan, but it will solidify after hitting her thus immobilizing her by turning her into an igneous statue.

Acid mist will also waste away Konan in her paper form even if she decides to turn as hard as metal. Mei's water walls will prevent any of Konan's paper shuriken or paper bombs from getting through or acidic mist will melt the attack before it gets close to Mei.

Her being in flight makes no difference. Mei has already presented large scale

Konan takes this Mei could blanket her attack however. Konan can fly and her attacks are more well rounded

She didn't wanted to kill the others with her acid mist. That's why she needed an enclosed space.
However she used the acid against Madara's V3 Susanoo in an opened area.

I meant in a open environment way up high her acid mist wouldn't work as well. Or at least dissipate quickly.
As for that water tech it was a collaboration between her garra( sand contains mass and as such it makes sense that its bigger) and ay, on top of that onnoki distracted/ blocked madara's line of sight with his jinton madara insuring that their attack had a higher chance of hitting.
The other scan u showed, showed konan covered in oil making harder for her to dodge. Mei has no such abilities.
