I hope we aren't questioning Mei's victory here...cause its very apparent.

Zabuza and Haku win mid-high diff. The only threat I see here is her Boil Release; however, with Haku's mirrors being made of really thick ice, Haku can buy just enough time to get close enough and cause some damage. I know Mei's acidic mist was even capable of melting Sasuke's incomplete Susanoo, I'm just saying the ice can slower the effect of it and will give Haku enough time to land a blow.

Ice mirrors get anhilated when acidic mist is set up. Haku can buy all the time he wants to get close but he gets melted regardless.

CQC against Mei is probably the worst possible mistake due to acid.

The one thing in Mei' arsenal(acidic mist) is capable of taking out many things from what Zabuza and Haku can offer such as close range and mirrors. Zabuza's close range being superior does not mean much when he gets melted in close range.

Not even comparing their long range since the gap is obvious, Zabuza's suitons which have made with source can't compare what Mei have shown and lava release is adding up for her superiority.

And the location just favors Mei more than it does to anyone in this matchup. Closed room makes acid filled in seconds.

Mei's WD is bigger than Zabuza's, but Zabuza's Giant Vortex Jutsu is on par if not stronger. Like I don't know how that's so hard to believe. GVJ is a A-rank jutsu where as WD is B-rank. Giant Vortex Jutsu is just a more difficult, stronger jutsu. I'm not debating this because people will say, "Mei made a Water Dragon without a source, and Zabuza can't preform Suiton without a source because he hasn't been shown to even though fodder nameless Chuunin were shown to use Water Wall, a B-rank Suiton and Zabuza is more skilled than them. But Zabuza still can't use Suiton without a source because I'm a douche and won't allow common sense to take place"

It seems that if Zabuza were to do use his own source of water, it wouldn't be as large or powerful as Mei's.

For Zabuza to make it on par he will need to use a water source, and long-ass hand seals.

I believe Zabuza can make it on the scale as Mei's, what suggests that he cannot? He has shown high stamina and chakra reserves. Sure it will take him a lot of chakra but he should be able too.

Mei has shown to be more skilled with hand seals tho, I agree, however, I believe Kishi is just getting lazy with hand seals. We barely see them used anymore. I think he is trying to use the panels on more useful things.

I'm in no way saying Zabuza's Suiton is better, I believe Mei's Water Dragon is stronger, but Zabuza's Giant Vortex Jutsu, a jutsu stronger than Water Dragon is on par with it, thus I believe they have the same fire power with jutsu. Mei is better with seals, but Zabuza has shown more versatility with Suiton (Water Clones, Water Prison, more skilled with Hidden Mist, etc)

Hand seals are always used through out the series. We don't rarely seem them simply because the jutsu's don't take as much seals to complete unlike the ones shown. Even off panel hand signs, demonstrated that seals still require alot in jutsu's[
