Mei Terumi: Does anyone else feel...

... That Mei's KKGs are much too one-dimensional???

I mean, isn't it funny how the jutsu of other elements can be so fluid and dynamic (read: Suiton's water dragon flood, Ka ton's fire dragon, Raiton's Raikiri, and even Hyoton's ice structures?), but Mei's Lava and Vapour release so rigid and well... boring?

Think about it. All Mei can do with lava and vapour release is to spew them out of her mouth; so far she has not demonstrated the ability to manipulate the form/shape of her jutsus, and IMO, that is disappointing, especially for a shinobi of her calibre (BTW, i am not one of those who believe Mei isn't 'kage-level').

I've thought of some possible variations of Lava style and Vapour style that Mei could potentially have (but sadly does not develop due to a bad case of kishi-trolling):
i) Lava Dragon: The lava variation of Suiton's Suiyurdan no jutsu

ii) Vapour style Tajuun Bunshin: Acidic mist clones

Any thoughts/comments/more jutsu variations?

Agreed. Like i mentioned, this is a bad case of kishi-trolling. But could there be perhaps another reason why the Lava and Vapour release jutsus are so rigid? Would anyone else like to see Mei using her KKGs in more varied ways??

She defiantly has alot more ability's with her kkg that she has yet to show(but i doubt we will get to see them ). Shes getting a real bad look fighting against edo madara but that's because Kishi has tsunade and onooki in the spotlight right now....i doubt we will see much more from her in this fight but she is still an outstanding shinobi and with two kkg she should not be taken lightly.

Like I said before, Mei is to afraid when she faces powerful opponents. She needs to develop her will to fight.

hm, i kind of agree with you, but kishi does have to develop jutsus for many characters, so there is bound to be these kind of things happening

Yeah you are right, all she seems to be able to do is just spit at people, bit boring and weak to be honest.

Well since she is capable of using those elements she is more skilled with Nature Manipulation than she is with Shape Manipulation (Read the chapters where Kakashi is training Naruto for Rasenshuriken if you don't know what i am talking about) and this must be the reason she can't do complex jutsu yet (Keep in mind that she is also very young among the Kages).
It was stated in the manga that combining both Nature Manipulation with Shape Manipulation is an extremely difficult task.

So even though i think she has a larger variety of jutsu involving those KKG but we just haven't seen them yet, if it turns out she actually doesn't then this could be an explanation.

That's definitely a possibility! But there's one thing I can't figure out:
Dodai (the Kumo dude) has the same lava style jutsu as Mei, but seems to be so much more proficient at shape manipulation than she is! I mean, he has techniques like lava style: Rubber wall; rubber ball; rubber rope, etc...

She probably has some techniques but hasn't shown them yet. An Acid rain jutsu would probably fit her.. maybe acidic bubbles too. Roshi has magma techniques, which seems to be pretty similar to lava. As far as feats go... I'd say they are a bit one dimensional. At least the lava is, being how she just spits it out and has used the same thing more than once.

its funny cause she ran out of chakra soo quick and Tsunade had to give her some......and heal her, Garaa, and Onoki sooooooooooooo
-I think she is KAGE LEVEL its just shes the weakest one
