I didn't forget she's a healer, but the fact is that Hidan's strikes aren't meant to deliver fatal wounds but mostly scratches, since that's all he needs. Shinobi don't cry over minor injuries that's why i don't think she makes much difference, maybe by distracting Hidan giving better openings for Mei to attack but nothing else.
