Mei isn't pulling her weight

All the kages are kind of pulling their own weight at this point except Mei.
Overlooking the fact that she had trouble fighting Zetsu
Her purpose
Tsunade's whole reason for bringing Mei to the fight was so that Mei could cancel out Katon's with Suitons

So in terms of fulfilling her job as the Fire Extinguisher she kind of failed.

In battle
Then in terms of battle she again fails.

Against her Susanoo's (when everyone is taking care of themselves) she needed to be saved by the Kazekage.

Thinking back her mist jutsu was wasted in terms of strategic value. I mean A still ended up caught in genjutsu and their was only one path present. Muu was a sensor so he can run even in the mist whereas her allies chasing him could have lost him and been killed in it. Yes it did serve a purpose, it allowing Oonoki and A to blitz Muu and Madara but it seems that she should have used it more strategically to prevent Genjutsu knowing how impulsive Raikage is.

I was very disappointed with her attitude, she's really negative so I agree on that but I guess Kishi doesn't pay much attention to the Kunoichi's in the series. But I still love Mei-Sama anyway. ^^

Tsunade healed Gaara and Oonoki from the brinks of death
She healed Mei
She attacked Madara
She broke Susanoo
She conceived the plan to deal with katons
She set up Madara for a Jinton blitz
She fought her 5 Susanoo clones with a Susanoo smackdown in there
She tanked 3 susanoo swords, 3 yasaka magatamas, a katon, and the heavenly transfer technique
She suggested the going to the battlefield which encourage A to follow her
She and A saved Oonoki and Gaara from the Muu and Madara blitz.
She donated a large quantity of chakra to Oonoki
If you take away Tsunade, Oonoki and Gaara would be dead and it'd only be a matter of time til A and Mei were killed.

Gaara put a Sand Shield to aid in the blocking of the string of Yasaka Magatamas
He protected soldiers against Madara
He yanked Madara out of Susanoo
He defeated Joki Boy
He defeated his father
He protected Mei
He held Madara in place during the Combo attack

A pushed Madara into Mei's lava
He avoided the majority of Madara's attacks
With the Tsuchikage's help he broke the the Susanoo he helped to Melt
He provided back up for Tsunade's attacks on Madara
He helped stop the Muu and Madara blitz
He provided the lightning paralysis for the combo attack
He was fighting his 5 Susanoo's well enough until he got distracted (though it seems he has a thing for Tsunade)

Madara didn't aim his katon as the 5 kages. He aimed away from them and the pollen spreaded. You can't hit something thats not aimed.

Her attitude? It seems you forget even Gaara was losing his cool. They are both pretty young unexperienced shinobi.

I see you like to forget all the good things she has done during this fight as well. The fight against Edo MAdara is a team effort she's been contributing.

That is kind of how the fight is working but not quite.
The hokage should not be a main fighter as she is the medic and the medic is never on the front line. She's usually would be support. But she's played both Support (Tanking the Katon for everyone, Healing the other kages, Setting Madara up, Donating Chakra to Oonoki) and Offense

I agree Mizukage has been a support type in this fight, however given her versatility possessing 3 elements with 2 kkgks I would expect more offense from her and her support role is less impressive than Tsunade and Gaara. If she committed to being a Support fighter, then she should shine as a support fighter. But she hasn't particularly shined anywhere.

She'd be pretty bad at long range techniques and support if she can only hit what's directly aimed at her. The fire was aimed at the forest. She and her teammates were in the forest.

I didn't say she was useless. I said that she isn't carrying her weight. When you compare her contributions to the efforts of the rest of the team she is performing below capacity. Very frankly, Raikage has one arm but has been more consistent in terms of benefiting the team than she has.

Gaara was losing his cool, the difference was that he got it back together. But she even after Oonoki's words the second time opted to lead the team into despair. Anyone who's played a team sport know's when a team member is negative it spreads and becomes infectious lowering the morale of the team causing a worse performance.
Very simply she could serve some purpose, she's not useless, if she were Tsunade wouldn't have needlessly brought someone to the fight to die. She's not working to potential and as a result she isn't carrying her weight

Does it really matter? At the end of the day Mei would still beat Tsunade and i have solid proof to support that.

In a one on one fight Tsunade is more likely to win
