Ohkay, been experimenting with layer blending on a bigger scale, also playing around with some other stuff.

Really like this sig, it was the best out of all my practice sigs. Backgrounds plain, i know, but the point of making this sig was to focus on the render and doing different things with it so that doesn't really bother me. There are a whole lot of smudge/blending layers with some experimenting.

Then this one for the same reasons as above, i really like the render and blending but the background is abit naff.

The joker 1 would be really cool just need to work on the background add a simple render clouds in the background and blend it in might work a treat =]

no. 2 is pretty norm. for me



if you ask me why, I would say:

Because in no. 1, render has lost its focal point.

it's good to blend it well,but really bad smudging

and in no.2, .....

I agree with number two, it doesn't feel like a nice signature, although i quite liked number 1, it might not be technically good. (In terms of classic signature making, e.g. I would agree with your comment on the lack of focus on the render and it might be over smudged. But i liked the invert layer blend and the gold look over the renders face. Also i liked the inverts effect on the sharingan eye) But i guess everyone's tastes are different.
