Why is it that the girls you want to be with never comes to you, but the girls you don't want to be with do the exact opposite?

So there's this girl that just won't stop talking to me and always has to be around me. She has a boyfriend or something like that. I'm always trying to avoid her and just, you know, not give her any reasons for her to be around me. But it's like that draws her further in.
