Then either a humans gone made and she'll have a nasty infection, or...they are no longer among the living and soon, if not already, so is Miku...

why on earth would you aim to come here where it originated...never mind, not now.
rodent...there are rats, shrews, mice, squirrels...biggest of those probably being rats, so if you think it's rodent I'd put my money on that. in which case she may have a life threatening disease...especially if the rat had fleas but otherwise there are only a few rare diseases that could be caused, therefore she should be alright...and still doesn't explain her unconsciousness...

(sorry I'm a science student >_< and I do the hunting I'd know what's in the area and I do most of the diagnosis around here so I'd hope I'd know how to treat any wounds that could be caused while hunting :/...no one knows her past so ya never know ...but then again back then the docs were quacks xd....I keep thinking around black death time and Victorian kinda time for some reason too :/ sorry how else should we diagnose the injury as back then they may not know how...or how to treat it like we do now days...)

Miku? *hears her coming to the door* Miku! sit down! I need to treat your foot before you start running around. *picks her up and puts her back on the bed* now stay still. this is gonna sting. *puts some of the cloth into the water and pats it lightly on the wound*

oh dear....wonder why *continues treating*...seems like she can't feel her foot...on the open wound this should sting a little...*starts binding the wound in the other piece of cloth* but the wound showed that it wasn't venomous and no sign of infection. *finishes, packs away and passes Miku the water and food prepared earlier* she's only said one word so far...

(and specially for Sammy, there were many different alleged treatments for a bite in medieval times, including slicing a chicken and laying it on the bite, an ointment made from pigeon droppings, garlic and salt, or a mixture of figs and pomegranates...and likely there were many more. but as we're in a forest, we don't have any of these and I'm not odd, I did it my way )

*sits on Sammy's bed opposite Miku* Miku eat something. since we don't know the cause of what happened, if you can, it'd be nice if you ate...
what should we do Keith? how can we figure what happened....although I have a theory. for all we know she may have seen the rat and decided to chase it to investigate, as children are like that, she may have chased it to the river where the rat bit her out of defence and she slipped and fell, possibly knocking her unconsciousness as she feel or just out of shock...

there aren't any monkeys here...(except Sammy's orangutans -_-) may be a few dogs or cats and there are obviously wolves, but since she's scared of wolves I doubt that would lure her away but could be a dog or cat...although since there is no sign of infection I doubt it matters right now...
