depends how long you were asleep.
...Miku went missing and we went out searching. Eventually found her laying in the river and we brought her back here. Doesn't seem to have an obvious injuries. We don't know why she walked off or how she ended up how she did...when we found her she was unconscious but still breathing.

*takes a deep breath and relaxes, putting away the bow and arrow and goes to inspect the wound* Samson do you know all the kinds of large animals that could be in this area?
by the looks of the markings from the teeth it doesn't look Human, wolf/dog, bear, deer, fox, bat, monkey, ape or cat like...but considering some deformities seem to appear when a creature becomes a zombie it might not be easily recognisable...but I don't see the skin decay you would usually see around such a wound...any ideas?

Then either a humans gone made and she'll have a nasty infection, or...they are no longer among the living and soon, if not already, so is Miku...

why on earth would you aim to come here where it originated...never mind, not now.
rodent...there are rats, shrews, mice, squirrels...biggest of those probably being rats, so if you think it's rodent I'd put my money on that. in which case she may have a life threatening disease...especially if the rat had fleas but otherwise there are only a few rare diseases that could be caused, therefore she should be alright...and still doesn't explain her unconsciousness...
