Medical Kinjutsu - Priest

[Priest]

Priest had thought he won't have anything to do with training anymore, alas, there is always something new to learn and the time has come for him to ascend even further. Having reached the pinnacle of medicine, Priest awaits his former kinjutsu teacher, Orochimaru to come and taint him some more.

He sits and brings out a rosary...

Orochimaru slithers into existence, only to find the once Priest there once more. How deep down the Rabbit hole did this Priest intend to go? Did he know what he was getting himself into? Even Orochimaru only had heard of these teachings. Perhaps one day, he would take over the Priest, and take his abilities. Kukuku.

"Priest, we meet again. Holy man, tell me..what is Medical Kinjutsu really?"

As expected, the white snake crawls in. Not surprising that Priest see him in Medical school in the first place. Infact that man has got a whole lair full of human lab rat. What does that make him, a doctor or a butcher or both? He's a mad scientist which Priest himself fears as he knows not what he could do to him all in the name of training.

Hearing Oro asking him the meaning of Medical Kinjutsu, Priest proceed by first clearing his throat while tucking in his rosary.
We know kinjutsu is an art that breaks the law of nature. Medicine deals with the human anatomy, using chakra, chemisty and biology. It is only palpable we define Medical Kinjutsu as Medical Arts that are deem forbidden to their nature and how much it breaks the law of nature. We are talking about something that could cause grave injury or death when used thus why its forbidden. Unlike normal Kinjutsu however, this one incorporates medicine into itself.

 

[Detective L]

Sacrifice? Priest Thought while catching the scroll Oro threw at him. He unravels it and read what is contained therein. The technique is an interesting one and just like Orochimaru had mentioned, its very useful at replacing one own life force to restore another even the dead, but it raises so many question. He would start with his inquiry hoping to get a solution.

History has it that this same technique was used by Chiyo Ba San of Sunagakure and in the process, she lost her life. From the description, it says, its not a medical jutsu but the transfer of one's own life force(chakra), does this mean, life force itself has healing properties? What it the body(shell) is destroyed beyond recognition, would it regenerate or would you need to heal those after revival? It says insufficient chakra, what are the factors that would determine you have insufficient chakra to revive? Is this dependent on rank? Can this be used through a clone? How long would it take to complete the entire process as it does not say? So you transfer all your chakra into the dead, what if you have more chakra reserves than them, would transferring it to them harm them? So once revived, they have their full chakra?

"To revive the dead, you die. Yes, it is able to restore damaged flesh (as long as the person in question is not dead, though can be close), so in a sense, yes. Not usable through a clone, and probably takes around the same time as a normal technique. However, requires one to focus. No, the target will only be revived from death if you die, no loopholes. What makes it so dangerous is that its literally sapping your own life force to help others, and large tax of chakra it takes at once, and only usable once. Not usable on yourself either, so don't even try it...kukuku.."

A cold chill ran through Priest's spine as Oro laughs. Not knowing whence it cam but it sure is there. Could Oro be teaching him this particular techniques so that at the end, Priest sacrifices himself to revive him if he happens to die?

Priest would quickly read through the scroll and next would see Orochimaru providing him with a corpse, a fresh one he presume. Following the instructions in the scroll, he'll quickly spread his chakra into the corpse while using it to jump start its heartbeat. He would let the reanimated corpse move about for a bit and having observed it for a while, he turns towards his teacher and asks

Do I need to keep focus on him to sustain him or he's sentient? I'm guessing it won't feel pain nor can it die until it expires but can be incapacitated? Can it be pre-made and stored? How fresh must the corpse be? One you killed or you could just make up any corpse from nowhere? How long would it take to prepare in terms of turns

Priest continues with his observation and begin to ponder several ways the corpse would be useful. Since one could do plastic surgery, one could make it take on the user's appearance or anyone he knows. Priest ofcourse have good use for this kind of technique as it could serve as a good diversion and bait.

No, it cannot be stored, it requires a fresh corpse, and a real one (not NPC), and in terms of turns, I cannot say, but it is generally a process that takes time, and as it says, not to really be used in battle, but rather for espionage and if need be, before a battle (not stored though, as it can't be pre-made as in, you make it and store it in a scroll). So it requires a certain form of skill and patience, though can be useful otherwise. Nonetheless..."

This technique can also be used to physically enhance the person to higher levels of speed and strength. It also alters the person's physical appearance drastically, making them younger and more fit in looks. This technique is based on the muscles' ability to grow stronger after repairing itself from damage. Understanding this theory, the Body Revival Technique can increase the strength of the user by manipulating the "Destruction and Rebirth" cycle of the muscles.

Priest nod anD slowly opens the scroll with caution. He would go through the content of the scroll and after understanding what it entails, he begins by explaining to Orochimaru what it entails and how much he understands it.

I believe this is a healing/self empowering jutsu with great drawbacks at the end. With an abundance of medical chakra flowing through one's body, injures would be healed constantly for 3 turns while one's physical prowess and speed is increased due to fortification and constant buff of the muscles.

Though the drawbacks are severe. One it only last for 3 turns and you suffer for it for the rest of the battle, albeit being only +10 to taijutsu and x2 speed. Many non-forbidden jutsus already give that without any sort of drawbacks. So say I use the jutsu and it expires, my speed is reduce 2 folds. Does this means that since my speed was previously increased 2 folds, decreasing it now will make me be at normal speed? Also what's the extent of it healing? Can severed limb regrow, deep gashes close up, severe burns heal?

Priest stops for now and awaits Orochimaru's response.

 

[Detective L]

"No, your original is decreased by half. And no, severed limbs won't be regrown, but any damage that is not too bad or too fatal, will be healed."

Orochimaru says, as the smile stays on his face.

 

[Priest]

With the response, Priest had made up his mind. He would not use such a technique unless he had no other choice which is perhaps near to impossible as there would always be a better choice.

Priest would await Orochimaru for further instructions.

Description:
This is a very advanced technique developed to bypass a ninja's limitation in terms of their own elemental affinity and inclination and unlock his full potential. Normally, a ninja has a primary elemental affinity and can train hard to learn how to imbue other into his chakra. Using medical knowledge of genetics and chakra, it was possible to devise a method to bypass this temporarily by creating a mixture of both the users own cells, an organic medium (stem cells) and a sample of a donors cells, all of which, infused with high amounts of chakra and various medical enhancing drugs. This mixture can then be administered directly through an injection on the users blood stream. The injection will trigger a massive reaction in the users body which will temporarily mutate and change, assimilating the DNA material that boosts a given elemental usage. The effect is drastic and somewhat changes the users body into a mutated, corrupted form (despite not altering his physical capabilities). As a result, the user will be, during the duration of the technique, able to use the chosen element of the prescription to a drastically high level. During the effect of the injection, the user will be able to use the primary element of the DNA donor as if it was his own primary element though to a higher level. The mastery of the element in question will be so high that the user will be able to use it without handseals, using just hand or body gestures. Elements that require a source to use can be used without it, with the user creating the source with his own chakra. This comes, though, at a great cost. The users chakra quickly drains as the foreign cells feed of of it and his body suffers tremendous damage as time passes and each technique he uses of the elements in question will consume more chakra than normal. As the user shifts his own chakra inclination towards a different element through assimilating foreign DNA and its presence in his blood stream, he will be unable to use blood sacrifices to summon animals.

Note: once used it cannot be ended and will culminate with the user being left exausted and drained of stamina, unable to use medical techniques, ninjutsu above A-Rank for 2 turns and taijutsu for 5 turns.
Note: fresh cells need to be collected to allow the user to produce the mixture in a viable manner, meaning that only fresh corpses (1 turn max) or living donors will serve the purpose.
Note: the user can collect and possess up to 3 samples from different ninjas and combine them into his own injection but he can only have one injection made.

Such trouble and drawback over what? Being able to use an element with only hand gestures and no source. I believe this is too underpowered, except it according to the last restriction, since one can mix 3 dnas, can one then be able to use 3 different elements with no handseals using just an injection?

The chakra cost and damage is too high and doubles with increasing turns. Too much going with such a small effect.

Can the injections be pre-prepared?

"Yes, but only a single one. Not very impressive, I admit. Kukuku."

Orochimaru states, knowing that this man seeks more power out there.

With Orochimaru admitting Priest's theory, he nods back to show him he was ready to continue should there be anything left of him to learn.

 

[Detective L]

"I believe that's it."

Orochimaru says, as he turns his back on the Priest, just as God had turned his back on him now. He was corrupted, beyond reprieve.

 

[Priest]

Priest nods showing appreciation to the snake for tainting him thus far. He would begin to walk away too.
