Well, for starters, medical fuuin differs from basic fuuin by the fact that it involves medical knowledge. Essentially, using the advanced knowledge of the human body, the user can deploy advanced sealing techniques with much more specific and more potent results. This allows him to place seals on his own and the opponents body to achieve different tasks. On top of that, the user now gains the ability to seal parts of the opponents body, rendering them useless (eg. chakra pathways). The last main difference stems from the fact that the medical seals can have a much wider variety of triggers, which can also be biological. In the very essence, medical fuuin is regular fuuin + medical knowledge and understanding of the human body.

• The Medium/Vessel - This is the "thing" in which you'll seal your target. As a medical ninja, what trully changes is that you have enough knowledge of the chakra flow and ninja body to use it as a medium for seals. This means you can place seals in your own body or that of others, not requiring a pre-made medium like a paper tag for example. The seal can then be done "in loco" and doesn't need to be pre-prepared before.
• The Trigger - This is what will activate the sealing technique. The main change here is that you can set a seal to trigger on broader aspects, including biological ones of your target. For example, you can make a seal that will seal off adrenaline production in a ninja in case his supra-renal glands produce more than X amount. Or you can make a seal that will render the target unconscious, sealing his consciousness for X amount of time if he experiences pain above Y level. Also, you become able to place seal on contact without handseals.
• The Binding - Medical ninja or not, this doesn't really change much. The only rule is that you'll always need a kanji formula that can be made with or without handseals or written in a medium or not.
• Chakra - No difference here. As a medical ninja you still need to apply chakra to your seals for them to work. The main thing to take is that you can make auto-suficient seals like the Jinchuriki binding seals. Basically, seals that rely not only on your chakra but that of external sources or even, if place in a living medium, chakra of said medium to be sustained.
• The Key - Only thing here is that you can, like with the trigger, create and setup more elaborate keys for your seals.

In summary, as a medical ninja, you become more adept at using a basic skill in more specialized ways linked to your knowledge of the ninja body, chakra (and its energies), etc while taking advantage of your increased chakra control and precision. Think of it as Water Release and Rain. Water Release is the basic skill of using chakra to manipulate and create water for techniques. Rain is simply an advanced usage of that basic skill that enables control over even atmospheric water, allowing control over Rain and other similar phenomenons. Additionally, Medical Ninjas become able to release, disrupt and cancel stronger seals as they have more knowledge and control over sealing techniques in general. The seals they produce can also have longer ranges, require less handseals and be of higher strength.

Ok, so we can seal more stuff in more complex ways. What about empowerment seals?

Empowerment seals are seals made to empower you and your abilities. They can be done in various ways. Its a special usage of seals where there are many things you can do but you always need to adhere to the rule that a seal serves the purpose of sealing and unsealing something and if it is to empower you, that needs to be how it works. For example, Tsunade and Sakura have a seal that empowers them by sealing chakra through long periods of time, releasing it only when they need more power and empowering them as a result.

That's nice. One important thing that I see from this technique, it only draws the poison that hasn't already been absorbed. So, the seal works by manifesting the symbols for the elements on the users fingers and then getting in contact with the opponent in order to seal and restrict his chskra circulatory system. Essentially, it prevents him from using more than 65% of his chakra reserve and makes it hard and almost impossible to perform complex techniques, such as everything above A rank, sealong techniques and medical techbiques. Unseal works on the same principle and allows the user to simply remove the seal. Logically, the seal has great usage for patients because it allows the user to perform procedures without the risk of being injured.

Marks of weaker power can be completely suppressed by this technique alone, but for marks of higher power, like Sasuke Uchiha's Cursed Seal of Heaven, it will cause the seal's power to become dependent on the recipient's own willpower to some extent, especially if the sealer is not experienced enough to strengthen the seal with his own power. It is also capable of holding back certain kekkei genkai, such as that of the Kurama clan as seen when Kurenai tried to do this. This seal requires a high number of hand seals to be performed (Hare → Snake → Horse → Ram → Bird → Tiger → Hare → Snake → Horse → Ram → Bird → Tiger → Hare → Snake → Horse → Ram → Bird → Dog → Rat) and consumes large amount of chakra from the user. Preparation for this technique requires two concentric circles with kunai placed in intervals along the circumference, in addition to a number of characters written in blood that radiate out from the centre of the cursed seal. So, the first one lets us supress a curse mark and some KG but it is rather complex in preparation and from the looks of it, it's similar in style to what Hidan does with his rituals. Considering the changes to the biography rules and the change to what is a KG and what is not, I guess, this technique doesn't have much use nowadays. The other one however, I like. Considering that it forcefully releases a CM, is it possible to use this technique to immediately open the 2nd stage on oneself, for example?

Description: An otherwise simple technique in concept, it stands as a very complex technique. The medical ninja, when facing a patient with depleted or near depleted chakra, will link his own chakra flow with that of the patient, sharing some of his chakra with the patient. Because not all ninjas have the ability of chakra transfer, medical ninjas developed a sealing technique to allow this. The user will take 2 small paper tags with a seal inscribed containing one the kanji for "Donor" and the other the kanji for "Recipient". He will place the respective tags in their place on the chest (one on him or a donor, and the other on the person that needs the chakra) and do the Horse+Hare+Tiger handseal, triggering the technique. The seal on the paper tag will expand and spread across the targets body. The donor seal and the recipient seal are connected to each other and as such make it possible to link both chakra networks. Immediately, the chakra will start to flow from the one with more chakra to the one with less chakra. Without medical knowledge and mastery, one wouldn't be able to link both chakra networks without hurting both targets but without chakra transfer abilities of their own, a medical ninja needs the seal to mediate the transfer. Once the transfer is under way, it can be cancelled by doing the same handseals in an inverse order or let it take it course as the seal has a safeguard to prevent death. The seal will only serve to, at most, equalize both targets chakra levels, never allowing the donor to drop below the recipient. For example, if the donor has 1002 points of chakra and the recipient has 2 points, the technique will end when both are left with 502 points of chakra. A drawback of the technique is that both participants need to have their chakras calm and undisturbed. If one is under the effect of a genjutsu it will pass to the other and if one has natural energy mixed with his chakra and the other is incapable of dealing with it, he will petrify. A big vantage of the technique is that while one needs the ritual to trigger it, once it starts, both parties no longer need to be near eachother, allowing the medical ninja to treat other patients while donating his chakra or even go to another battlefield to help in another front. Additionally, the seal is refined enough to filter Natural Energy and other harmful energies that might be coursing inside the donors or recipients chakra system, allowing the use to cause no harm to either side due to those factors.

The medical ninja, when facing a patient with depleted or near depleted chakra, will link his own chakra flow with that of the patient, sharing some of his chakra with the patient. Because not all ninjas have the ability of chakra transfer, medical ninjas developed a sealing technique to allow this. The user will take 2 small paper tags with a seal inscribed containing one the kanji for "Donor" and the other the kanji for "Recipient". He will place the respective tags in their place on the chest (one on him or a donor, and the other on the person that needs the chakra) and do the Horse+Hare+Tiger handseal, triggering the technique. The seal on the paper tag will expand and spread across the targets body. The donor seal and the recipient seal are connected to each other and as such make it possible to link both chakra networks. Immediately, the chakra will start to flow from the one with more chakra to the one with less chakra. Without medical knowledge and mastery, one wouldn't be able to link both chakra networks without hurting both targets but without chakra transfer abilities of their own, a medical ninja needs the seal to mediate the transfer. Once the transfer is under way, it can be cancelled by doing the same handseals in an inverse order or let it take it course as the seal has a safeguard to prevent death. The seal will only serve to, at most, equalize both targets chakra levels, never allowing the donor to drop below the recipient. For example, if the donor has 1002 points of chakra and the recipient has 2 points, the technique will end when both are left with 502 points of chakra. A drawback of the technique is that both participants need to have their chakras calm and undisturbed. If one is under the effect of a genjutsu it will pass to the other and if one has natural energy mixed with his chakra and the other is incapable of dealing with it, he will petrify. A big vantage of the technique is that while one needs the ritual to trigger it, once it starts, both parties no longer need to be near eachother, allowing the medical ninja to treat other patients while donating his chakra or even go to another battlefield to help in another front. Additionally, the seal is refined enough to filter Natural Energy and other harmful energies that might be coursing inside the donors or recipients chakra system, allowing the use to cause no harm to either side due to those factors.

The technique is also useless against enemies with implanted genetic material or doujutsu, as those aren't part of their own DNA but simply implanted tissue.

He will then touch the limb or area affected by the injury and burn into it a series of kanji, forming a circular seal around the targeted area. As the seal forms, any injury contained within it is halted in its progression as the seal effectively seals the injury. Most physical trauma, poisonings, etc injuries will spread and become bigger, affecting more of the surrounding tissues or simply release toxins, consume energy or even drain blood, weakening the body. The technique can also be applied to patients, to make treatment easier by sealing simpler injuries, allowing one to take more time and focus on the more severe, life threatening injuries, essentially buying the medical ninja time to properly heal. By using this technique, the medical ninja can temporarily avoid those effects by sealing the injury and halting its progression. This doesn't, however, heal the injury, simply placing it into a sort of stasis. The limitation is that the user cannot use the area which was seal nor will it function. This means that if the injury is in a limb, it will be sealed and cannot be moved or used (this pertains to the areas below the seal as if for example the injury is on the wrist, the user can move the arm up until the wrist but cannot move the hand or the wrist) but if the injury is in the users core (abdomen, thorax, etc) the user will face limited movement of the torso and abdomen but no functional drawback. The technique can also be used to seal the effects of a technique into the users body like halting the burning spread of flames or the spread of a harmful toxin. Once the seal is release, the user will need to deal with the injury and heal it or treat it.

Well damn, this one is absolutely amazing, once again. I definitely chose the right field. Medical fuuin all the way. So, this technique lets us stop injuries and poisons from spreading and the insane par of it is the fact that it doesnt have a turn limit. This means that the effect is halted for as long as the seal is active. Amazing. Considering that it mentions burns from techniques, amaterasu comes to mind. Sealing the eternal flames and preventing them from burning, for "free" while the opponent suffers from the amaterasu penalties? Hell yeah. The only issue, of course, is the limited movement and inability to use the certain part of the body until healed. But, as a time buying technique one should already be prepared to come up with scenarios that can work around the disability.

This is basically just an advanced version of the five elements seal. Following the same principle, it seals away 50% of the opponents chakra and disables usage of techniques above B rank. Amazing.
