So, before we start I'll get you to read some material, to form the base this stage of training... taken word-for-word form the medical handbook xD

Iryo Fuuinjutsu (Medical Sealing Ninja Techniques)​

As Medical Ninjas, you have various fields in which you can further specialize in, applying the various skills you learned in basic medical training to develop and learn more specific and unique skills. From those, there is one bound to those that have already learned regular sealing techniques. Medical Sealing Ninja Techniques or Iryo Fuuinjutsu. In other words, this is an advanced class in which you'll learn how to improve your usage of sealing techniques via the knowledge of medical arts and how to use sealing arts to improve medical treatment success.

So, what exactly changes in regards to how seals work for medical ninjas?

Lets begin by each component of a seal and detail what you can now use seals to do:*

*This refers to the possibilities the skill and knowledge might allow you and not to abilities that are now applicable to all seals. Each seal will abide by what is described in it so a seal that requires a paper tag will still require it, regardless of being used by a medical ninja or a regular ninja. In truth, this knowledge is more important for custom seal crafting than anything.

• The Object/Target of the Seal - This is what you'll seal. As a medical ninja you can now seal the abilities of another ninja, as well as the chakra flow, any and every biological aspect of his fisiology, injuries, organs, body parts and even other more abstract things like fatigue or memories. The possibilities become much broader now that you have mastered how Ninjutsu can be used to affect the ninja body.
• The Medium/Vessel - This is the "thing" in which you'll seal your target. As a medical ninja, what trully changes is that you have enough knowledge of the chakra flow and ninja body to use it as a medium for seals. This means you can place seals in your own body or that of others, not requiring a pre-made medium like a paper tag for example. The seal can then be done "in loco" and doesn't need to be pre-prepared before.
• The Trigger - This is what will activate the sealing technique. The main change here is that you can set a seal to trigger on broader aspects, including biological ones of your target. For example, you can make a seal that will seal off adrenaline production in a ninja in case his supra-renal glands produce more than X amount. Or you can make a seal that will render the target unconscious, sealing his consciousness for X amount of time if he experiences pain above Y level. Also, you become able to place seal on contact without handseals.
• The Binding - Medical ninja or not, this doesn't really change much. The only rule is that you'll always need a kanji formula that can be made with or without handseals or written in a medium or not.
• Chakra - No difference here. As a medical ninja you still need to apply chakra to your seals for them to work. The main thing to take is that you can make auto-suficient seals like the Jinchuriki binding seals. Basically, seals that rely not only on your chakra but that of external sources or even, if place in a living medium, chakra of said medium to be sustained.
• The Key - Only thing here is that you can, like with the trigger, create and setup more elaborate keys for your seals.

In summary, as a medical ninja, you become more adept at using a basic skill in more specialized ways linked to your knowledge of the ninja body, chakra (and its energies), etc while taking advantage of your increased chakra control and precision. Think of it as Water Release and Rain. Water Release is the basic skill of using chakra to manipulate and create water for techniques. Rain is simply an advanced usage of that basic skill that enables control over even atmospheric water, allowing control over Rain and other similar phenomenons. Additionally, Medical Ninjas become able to release, disrupt and cancel stronger seals as they have more knowledge and control over sealing techniques in general. The seals they produce can also have longer ranges, require less handseals and be of higher strength.

Ok, so we can seal more stuff in more complex ways. What about empowerment seals?

Empowerment seals are seals made to empower you and your abilities. They can be done in various ways. Its a special usage of seals where there are many things you can do but you always need to adhere to the rule that a seal serves the purpose of sealing and unsealing something and if it is to empower you, that needs to be how it works. For example, Tsunade and Sakura have a seal that empowers them by sealing chakra through long periods of time, releasing it only when they need more power and empowering them as a result.

This seems more and more like a field for combat and custom making...

In a way, it is. However, its also through this field you gain access to the various medical sealing techniques you can find

Okay then... I'll start off by going through some non-medical seals that gain a boost from your medical knowledge.

( Hijutsu: Fūinjutsu Kai ) – Secret Technique: Sealing Release
Rank: A-Rank
Type: Supplementary

Chakra cost: N/A (same chakra as the seal thats to be released)

Description: The user can use this technique to dispel sealing techniques of various natures by forcefully breaking open the seal or, in extreme cases, erasing/cancelling them. For seals placed on a living medium, the user must make contact with the seal. For other seals, being in short range of it is enough. Normally, to perform this technique one needs to do the confrontation or the tiger handseal.
Note: Regular Fuuinjutsu users can dispel Sealing Techniques B-Rank and below. Uzumaki bios can dispel up to A-Rank. Medical Sealing Masters can dispel up to S-Rank.

Having studies sealing jutsu so meticulously, you are able to break up to S-rank seals with a simple seal!

( Keiyaku Fūin ) – Contract Seal

Description: The user, after having obtained some of the opponent's blood, touches a summoning that the opponent is controlling, causing a kanji formula to generate which forces the summoner to lose control of that summon. The summon does not fight for the user, but instead disappears back to its summon realm.
Note: Can only be used twice by regular sealing users while medical sealing masters can use it indefinitely.

I don't have a rational for why you can use this more... but being a med-sealing master, you can use this seal without limit!

( Suji Haji Fūin ) - Muscle Restriction Seal

Description: A special fuuinjutsu utilized by taking a tag that bears the symbol for "Restrict". When placed upon the opponent it generates an electrical current that is not physically harmful. However this flows through the nervous system and restricts the movement of muscles. This slows down the opponent and prevents him from using A-rank Tai and above for three turns.
Note: If applied by a medical ninja with sealing mastery, the effect will last until released.

( Chakra Taisan Fūin ) - Chakra Confusion Seal
Rank: S-Rank
Type: Supplementary

Description: A special tag that utilizes the mark of confusion. When placed upon an opponent and using chakra it burns into the opponents skin. This chakra tag causes chakra to flow towards that particular area, causing a disruption within the flow of chakra as well as making it harder to control chakra (adds a +20 cost of chakra to any jutsu that the opponent will use for 4 turns).
Note: This jutsu can only be used twice in battle.
Note: If applied by a medical ninja with sealing mastery, the effect will last until released.

( Genjutsu Fūin ) - Illusion Skill Seal

Description: A special fuuinjutsu utilizing the illusion mark. When placed upon an opponent it fully incapacitates their ability to utilize any sort of genjutsu for four turns.

Now that you have medical training, applying that knowledge of the human body to these seal will allow you to restrict your opponent until you, or another sealing master, release the seal.

One question though. Being a medical sealing master, would one be able to submit S-rank and above fuin cjs?

Also for the release method, the first one. It says "being in short range is enough" so I am in short range of the seal, I cam just do the confrontation handseal and dispel it even without contact? Does this apply to fuin barriers too?

You still need permission from the foreman in order to submit S-rank fuuins, that or have an Uzumaki bio for x-amount of months. However, if you make S-ranks with an Uzumaki bio, you must include a restriction that only allows Uzumaki bios to submit them. That being said, maybe it's worth asking a mod to clarify... I'll get back to you on that xD

So if the seal is on a living entity, you need to actually touch the seal. If the seal is within short range of you (on a tag, on the ground etc), it is possible to simply perform the hand sign and dispel it, without you even having to make contact with it; so yes to answer your questions xD It also works on barriers as they are a simplified form of Fuuinjutsu... that is my understanding anyway. The only exception I would say, would be the Four Violet Flames Battle Encampment as that is actually using people/clones to initiated and sustain the seal.

EDIT: Got confirmation, you need permission or an Uzumaki bio to submit S-rank and F-rank fuuin customs.

(Iryo Fuuinjutsu: Yūki Bunshi Soshiki Fūji Gijutsu ) Medical Sealing Arts: Organic Molecular Tissue Sealing Technique

Description:
A simple sealing technique used by medical ninjas to seal organic tissue without it deteorating. The user will first need a medium, compatible with organic tissue (preferably water or a similar liquid medium) which he will put inside a container. He will then put the sample tissue inside it, into the medium. He will do the Ox handseal and press his index finger on the container. A sealing mark will spread and surround the container, sealing it. Whatever is sealed inside will not die or decay, even if fragile. Alternatively, if the purpose is to seal Organic Molecules rather than Living Tissue, the user doesn't need a specific medium and can even seal the Organic Molecules in a scroll. The technique can be used to store living organs for donors, tissue samples, blood, toxins, medication, drugs, etc in a viable and perfect manner.

Say you need a set of eyes, maybe a limb or even someone's head for the purpose of collecting a bounty. Normally, if you take too long you would risk decomposition beyond recognition and you might risk damage if seal it inside of scroll via conventional means. Well, this seal if your go-to in order to preserve the organic tissue for each of transportation and to ensure viability of the tissue sample taken.
This is a fairly basic seal but only possible through knowledge of medical ninjutsu; else you'll have the organic tissue deteriorate.

(Iryo Fuuinjutsu: Doku Houin ) Medical Sealing Arts: Poison Sealing Method

Description: A special fuuinjutsu utilized by taking a tag and slapping it onto a body and then activating the seal. This seal draws all the poison within the body towards that seal and then imbues the poison into the sealing tag before detaching itself. The poison can be released from the tag to be researched and studied later on by performing the confrontation handseal and paying 10 chakra points.
Note: Alternative to using medical jutsu to remove poison.

Being a med-nin, and now a fuuinjutsu-master, you'll have many more pre-prepared seals in your inventory. This is one of them: a simple tag, about the size of a standard explosive-paper tag, with a seal on it... (I don't know what the seal looks like, we'll assume it says poison or something on it .__.)
Once placed, you'll inject some chakra into the tag to activate the seal, which will in turn draw out any poison from the afflicted target and draw it into the seal. You can step away while this happens, maybe heal something else or fight back an aggressor, as when the poison has been removed, the seal will automatically fall off. You can keep the seal and extract the poison at a later-time by reposting this jutsu, though only having to pay 10 chakra.

Love both and I see myself using the first often as I'll be gathering dnas for my edos.

With the first one, I need a medium to store the organ first then seal the organ through the medium. Can you then seal the medium in a scroll using this seal? Seeing its medical sealing technique, can it be unsealed by a none med?

The poison one is also good. Can this be used on oneself? Can one perform other techniques as the tag extracts the poison?

I would say yes, you can seal the medium inside of a generic sealing formula inside say, a scroll; for ease of transport. The Medical Seal itself can be unsealed by anyone. All they need to do is break the container xD

So long as you abide by time-frame then you are more than welcome to slap this poison seal on yourself, let it extract the poison while you perform other jutsu. The seal will extract the poison rather quickly and should be done by the end of your turn. The effects of the poison (damaged organs for example) will still linger and need treatment, this seal is just a way to remove the poison to prevent further symptoms or a worsening condition.

( Fūinjutsu: Gogyou Fūin ) - Sealing Technique: Five Elements Seal

Description: The user forms an elemental seal on the fingers of one hand as they are engulfed in blue chakra, one for each of the following five "elements": water, metal, earth, fire and wood. He then slams his hand onto the opponent, causing an imbalance in the opponent's chakra. This restricts the targets chakra flow allowing him to use only 65% of his chakra. As a result, the target can only mold techniques up to A-Rank while the seal is active. Furthermore, advanced techniques that require great chakra control such as Medical Jutsu, Sealing Jutsu, etc cannot be easily used, requiring more time, effort and at times being even impossible to accomplish. The seal is unique in the sense that it can be applied solely or imbued and mixed with an existing seal in the target. In this case, the seal already present in the target needs to be one in direct connection to its chakra flow (like a Jinchuriki Seal, Curse Mark, etc). The seal is useful not only in battle but also to restrict a patients ability to mold chakra, allowing the medical ninja an easier and safer approach.
Note: Can only be learned by Medical Ninjas in the Medical School.*

This is the seal Orochimaru placed on Naruto in the Chuunin exams, restricting his access to Kurama's chakra. For our RP, it has a few other applications; Stopping someone from using S-rank jutsu or higher, only allowing access to 65% of there chakra and hindering complicated ninjutsu fields like Med and Fuuin. In terms of Med and Fuuin jutsu, anything that requires specific focus in order to carry out will be what takes longer (or prevented in terms of S-rank+ jutsu). Barriers are generally considered low-level fuuin, so you'd be fine using an A-rank barrier, though it may take longer; whereas using this seal would most likely be impossible for you or take twice as long to carry out in the heat of battle.
If you intend to block access to Jinchuuriki chakra or Curse Seal chakra, you must apply this directly to those seals.

This is the key that reverses the effects of the previous seal.

Very useful technique. As a close combatant, I see myself using this often to even the score and restricting my opponent from using ninjutsu to counter my taijutsu. Apparently, they'll be forced to use Tai. Also this is good to restrict the chakra and seals.

Have several questions concerning this.

I guess this does not totally restrict the usage of Fuin. A-rank tops can be used? What happens to already activated seals?

Is the chakr been seal lost? And what if the opponent exhaust his remaining chakra when 65percent have been sealed?
So one can not undo the seal except we use the second jutsu? Even with generic sealing release? Or full body surge?

If a seal requires you to continually add chakra to sustain it or even dedicate a conscious effort to sustain the seal, I'd say that seal won't work if you get hit by the Five Elements Seal. A seal that is self contained and/or self sustaining won't be affected if you get hit by the Five Elements Seal.

If you burn through the remaining 65% of chakra, you will die as you're unable to call upon the remainder of chakra sealed away. A full body surge won't effect any seal to my knowledge, unless you use it to prevent the caster physically touching you.

So that's a good question. I think the generic release might have been added/updated to it's current form well after the Five Elements Seal was added. You should be able to use either jutsu to break the Five Elements Seal, one just looks cooler xD

(Fuinjutsu: Fūja Hōin) Sealing Technique: Evil Sealing Method
Type: Supplementary

Description: This technique is used to suppress technique-induced marks on a person. Marks of weaker power can be completely suppressed by this technique alone, but for marks of higher power, like Sasuke Uchiha's Cursed Seal of Heaven, it will cause the seal's power to become dependent on the recipient's own willpower to some extent, especially if the sealer is not experienced enough to strengthen the seal with his own power. It is also capable of holding back certain kekkei genkai, such as that of the Kurama clan as seen when Kurenai tried to do this. This seal requires a high number of hand seals to be performed (Hare → Snake → Horse → Ram → Bird → Tiger → Hare → Snake → Horse → Ram → Bird → Tiger → Hare → Snake → Horse → Ram → Bird → Dog → Rat) and consumes large amount of chakra from the user. Preparation for this technique requires two concentric circles with kunai placed in intervals along the circumference, in addition to a number of characters written in blood that radiate out from the centre of the cursed seal. According to Kakashi, this technique is quick, but painful.

What Kakashi did to seal away/restrict Sasuke's Cursed Mark in the first part of the Naruto Series. Basically, it will prevent your target from using/activating their Cursed Mark and also prevent use of the Kurama Clan from using their KG... I might see if I can put this up for updating as it doesn't quite fit with the current meta... ie. the uses are really vague and this seal all together seems useless to me...

( Fuuinjutsu: Kaija Hōin ) - Sealing Arts: Evil Release Method

Description: The direct counterpart to the Evil Sealing Method, this technique is used to release technique-induced marks on a person rather than sealing it. Compared to the Evil Sealing Method, the Evil Releasing Method requires far less preparation. Additionally it can be used to forcefully release a curse mark, either of heaven or earth, forcing the corruption of the natural energy into the targets body.
Note: Can only be learned by Medical Ninjas in the Medical School.

Same sort of deal, I find this to also be vague in the term "technique-induced marks"... Essentially, this unseals things... like cursed marks or I'd speculate seals like Tsunade's Chakra Seal on her forehead. Not sure why you'd want to do this to someone but hey, just in case xD

You are right. With the numerous handseals and preparation, I say I won't dare used the first one in battle, except ofcourse outside battle if the situation calls for it.

For the second, you are also right. This could be better if one is forcibly opening up a target's mode out of their consent, thus due to the target having no instant control over it, affects them negatively in one way or the other.

Like forcing the curse seal to open could cause uncontrollable nature energy to flood the target system and thus he'll be petrified. Or using this on other body seals and cause them to have negative effect.

Thus until the actual effects of the second technique are clarified, I don't see myself using it.

Iryo Fuuinjutsu: Setsuzoku no Chakra) Medical Sealing Technique: Chakra Link
Type: Supplementary

Chakra: 40 (-100 per turn for the user, +100 per turn for the patient)

Description: An otherwise simple technique in concept, it stands as a very complex technique. The medical ninja, when facing a patient with depleted or near depleted chakra, will link his own chakra flow with that of the patient, sharing some of his chakra with the patient. Because not all ninjas have the ability of chakra transfer, medical ninjas developed a sealing technique to allow this. The user will take 2 small paper tags with a seal inscribed containing one the kanji for "Donor" and the other the kanji for "Recipient". He will place the respective tags in their place on the chest (one on him or a donor, and the other on the person that needs the chakra) and do the Horse+Hare+Tiger handseal, triggering the technique. The seal on the paper tag will expand and spread across the targets body. The donor seal and the recipient seal are connected to each other and as such make it possible to link both chakra networks. Immediately, the chakra will start to flow from the one with more chakra to the one with less chakra. Without medical knowledge and mastery, one wouldn't be able to link both chakra networks without hurting both targets but without chakra transfer abilities of their own, a medical ninja needs the seal to mediate the transfer. Once the transfer is under way, it can be cancelled by doing the same handseals in an inverse order or let it take it course as the seal has a safeguard to prevent death. The seal will only serve to, at most, equalize both targets chakra levels, never allowing the donor to drop below the recipient. For example, if the donor has 1002 points of chakra and the recipient has 2 points, the technique will end when both are left with 502 points of chakra. A drawback of the technique is that both participants need to have their chakras calm and undisturbed. If one is under the effect of a genjutsu it will pass to the other and if one has natural energy mixed with his chakra and the other is incapable of dealing with it, he will petrify. A big vantage of the technique is that while one needs the ritual to trigger it, once it starts, both parties no longer need to be near eachother, allowing the medical ninja to treat other patients while donating his chakra or even go to another battlefield to help in another front. Additionally, the seal is refined enough to filter Natural Energy and other harmful energies that might be coursing inside the donors or recipients chakra system, allowing the use to cause no harm to either side due to those factors.
Note: Can only be used by medical ninjas with sealing mastery.

Basically, this allows you to use an auto-chakra transfer to send chakra from either yourself or a donor, to a chakra-deficient patient.

I think the jutsu explains anything I would normally cover, though do ask questions if needed.

(Iryo Fuuinjutsu: Kekkei Genkai Fuuin no Jutsu) Medical Sealing Arts: Bloodline Sealing Technique
Type: Supplementary

Description:
A special seal designed to seal off a patients KG to allow a given treatment or to enable a better healing process. The user will focus his chakra into his whole palm, which will be suddenly engulfed in an orange "chakra flame". In the middle of the palm, the kanji "stop" will be manifested. The user will then press his palm against the patient which will burn the kanji onto him and create the sealing mark (a pentagon of kanji inscriptions surrounding the main kanji). Upon doing so the patient will lose access to his Kekkei Genkai. The seal works by specifically sealing off bloodline genes, effectively disabling their use. This is specially useful when treating Kaguya Clan patients, whose KG can be detrimental to the healing process. In battle, the medical ninja can also use this technique against enemies to seal off their use of a KG. Against Elemental or Organic KG ninjas, it prevents them from accessing it and using its techniques or having its abilities. When used against a Doujutsu user, the seal will prevent him from activating his KG, leaving him with his normal eyesight. The exception is the Rinnegan, which cannot be sealed as its not a Kekkei Genkai itself but the merging of two blood lines. The technique is also useless against enemies with implanted genetic material or doujutsu, as those aren't part of their own DNA but simply implanted tissue.
Note: Seal can only be successfully placed twice per battle

Simply put, you can seal away your targets access to their KG abilities; ranging from stopping a Hyuuga/Uchiha from activating the Byakugan/Sharingan or something like a Kaguya or by our Bio rules, sand and paper bios. Again, I feel the jutsu describes most of the specifics but of course ask to clarify any questions you have about this.

By the way, this seal is permanent unless removed by another jutsu... or I guess the body part with the seal on it is cut off... like if it's on your thigh, you'd need to cut off the thigh. As for using this against Custom Clans... that would be very specific from clan to clan... Your Kuma clan, I'd say would be effected by this as your clans abilities are tied to an organic aspect of your bodies (the pads on your hands). I'd say Valentine would also be effected as they are similar to the Sage Transformation Clan (a KG according to the bio rules), whereas something like Scorps' Jedi Clan wouldn't be effected as they are simply using a different application and older form of Ninjutsu... to an extent, even the Nekura wouldn't be affected as they are using an external chakra, not a genetically based attribute for their clan abilities.

The first is simple enough and I see myself using this on an ally in a team battle. However, for the chakra disturbance part. Does this mean one is not able to perform ninjutsu while transferring or receiving chakra? If yes, this would mean I won't be able to use this during battle.
When using this, say I enter a mode, would the receiver or donor do the same? If I die would the receiver or donor die too or his life force would spread into me to keep me alive?.


For the second. Nice jutsu. I believe this require only body contact which makes it useful. So I see myself using this. Can this be released by normal ninjutsu means, like chakra surge? Since its medical fuin, I'm guessing no?

So the seal doesn't mention if you can perform battle ninjutsu, but it does allow you to move away and heal other patients (using medical ninjutsu). So from that, I can conclude that you would be able to place this seal and move on to fight; keeping in mind though the more chakra you use the less you have available for your patient... Essentially, the seal looks after the chakra transfer meaning you don't need any mental effort in order to transfer chakra.
If you enter a mode, no, your patient won't enter said mode. The jutsu description (says contradictory things in regards to this but I'll go with the latter mention of the ability) states that it will filter natural energy to prevent it spreading to either your patient from you, or from you to the patient. EiG isn't something that can be passed on by this seal either... Not sure of any other modes, but feel free to ask if you have custom modes or modes I'm not aware of... Also, jinchurriki cloaks wouldn't activate on the patient if you happen to have one activated. O__O'
If you die in battle (throat slit, jutsu devastates your body and kills you etc), the seal stops working and whatever chakra the patient had, is what they keep. The seal will auto-end if you and your patient's chakra equalise, meaning if you are having your chakra drained or using excess chakra, once your and your patient have the same amount of chakra that's it... the seal is done.

Like all fuuinjutsu, it can't be removed by a simple chakra surge; it will require another seal to remove it or a specific (more than likely fuuinjutsu) to remove it and the effects of the seal.
