Meaning behind the panel

Regarding the panel on this page I originally thought that the reason it has Naruto cut out of the picture was because Sasuke was still planning on killing Naruto because Sasuke's goal was to destroy all of the bijuu.
I still think Sasuke was/ is planning on getting rid of the bijuu, but seeing how well Sasuke and Naruto have begun to interact with each other and Sasuke constantly advising and trying to protect Naruto I think that the picture on this page was an illustration of Naruto and Sasuke's bond which Sasuke has severed and even though he has accepted Kakashi and Sakura, since Sasuke's main conflict was with Naruto he is havng trouble being the way he was before towards Naruto. And who knows before this arc ends the picture might become whole and Sasuke's mindset from part 1 might be restored.

Hopefully this is the truth. Naruto could be hokage and sasuke could be his right hand just like Hashi and Madara.

I still think Sasuke will try to kill the tailed beasts but he will become conflicted since he also would have to kill Naruto. Naruto will of course be against that idea and repeat the words he said to Sasuke in Land of Iron. So, Naruto fights Sasuke and wins but refuses to kill Sasuke and offers his hand in friendship. Sasuke accepts Naruto as Hokage and breaks the Curse of hatred.

I like this possibility. I didn't think this way before, I got another 3 possibilities and there wasn't one in which their predestined fight had no place.
